Nice hotel within walking distance of the old city

Posted Jan 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
BW Richelieu was a great place to stay. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and we had a newly renovated room. The small refrigerator with complimentary bottled water was useful for storing some groceries we picked up next door to the hotel. The shower was very nice with lots of jets. The desk staff was really helpful in suggesting places to go and restaurants and it was nice to have complimentary fresh fruit and chocolates. Parking was a bit awkward, though we found parking on the street. The room was a bit warm for our taste but opening the window at night helped. It was an easy walk to the old part of the city.

The hotel was situated within easy walking distance to the centre and historical areas. We were pleasantly surprised with the clean, modern decor and the helpful and friendly staff.

Plenty of uphill walking if you stay here.

A good hotel with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. One downside is the price of breakfast - a staggering 14 euros. The result, many people went out to the nearest cafe for a coffee and a croissant. Price? about 3 Euros. This hotel chain is stabbing itself in the foot. The pricve at the nearby Ibis was a reasonable 5Euros.

Good hotel for a short stay

Location: Good location to get in and out of town. Easy access to the town and beautiful gardens nearby
Obviously brand new, good hotel for seeing Limoges and the surrounding area. Just 5 mins walk from the town. Very helpful staff, gave us good recommendations for restaurants And a handy map. All you might need for a short stay, plus the secure parking was quite reasonable.

Very Nice Hotel

Limoges did not seem to be a tourist-friendly place. The hotel was very nice, the personnel were very helpful but there was no convenient place to eat.

A well suited business hotel

Posted Oct 28, 2011
Hotel is well suited for business travellers, not really a tourist type hotel as location involves walking to most locations including restaurants and railway station.
