Hotel close to the airportPosted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Proximity to the airport
Cons: Everything as very basic.
Location: Close to the airport. Nothing else to do very close!
Basic hotel very close to the airport. Limited facilities but ok for an overnight stay. Rooms are very similar to an IBIS.

Convenient and comfortablePosted Oct 24, 2013
For the cost, this site was a good choice! The room was clean and comfortable; the staff we met at the desk was welcoming and helpful; and, the breakfast was fresh and good! Despite being next to the small airport, we heard no air traffic at all!

Brilliant place to stay the night before a flight!Posted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: Location being so close to the airport and the cheapness.
Cons: Paper thin walls and the small bed.
Location: Directly beside Limoges airport.
Literally stayed here the night before our early morning flight. Picked the hotel due to its location and was not disappointed! It is next door to Limoges airport! The receptionist was very pleasant and spoke enough English to explain things to us. Paid right then so we could scoot out quickly for flight, they do charge a booking fee of 80c per person ehich wasnt listed on expedia but hardly broke the bank. The room was small but alright, bathroom was a bit iffy with a dead moth and a cracked sink but it was clean and there was plenty of towels. The bed was a bit on the small side and the walls are paper thin, we were woken at 1am by I presuming someone being locked out of their room by the drilling? The pool has also been filled in and has plants in it now. The late check in is useful though of you just want somewhere to rest your head. Overall not brilliant but for what we needed it for it was perfect and I would use the hotel again but not for more than one night and most certainly not a full holiday.

Great stop off before early morning flightPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Proximity to airport and car rental, comfortable bed and good bathroom
Cons: No air conditioning in our room
Location: 150 metres from airport terminal and car rental, and 10 mins from Limoges
A combination of having to return a hire car to and an early flight from Limoges Airport made a stop off at Alizes Hotel the most straightforward option. We dropped the hire car back in the evening on arrival, and only had a short stroll to the hotel and then the airport in the morning. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and cleanliness of the hotel; having preconceptions from the booking website that it was a bit dated and basic. Rooms were clean and fresh...bathroom with lovely tiles and good fittings. The whole place must have had a makeover. Pool didn't look too enticing; but not required in any case for a stop over. Free WiFi great for checking up on last minute airport info! The only disadvantage was there was no air conditioning in the room...we booked a basic room, so perhaps it is available in other specs. Still, we managed with the window wide open! You can get breakfast, but other than that, provisions are available from the airport....150 metres away. We just bought some snacks in a supermarket outside Limoges, but did enjoy a beer in the airport bar whilst plane spotting and catching the last of the French sun! I would certainly recommend this hotel as a pleasant and practical base for a stop off or business.

This time we were put into a shabby unrenovated room. The bathroom had a shelf missing, had very old wallpaper which surrounded the bath. No bath guard for tap type shower. If unsteady on feet getting in bath would be a problem as there were no bath handles. Would have been nice to have a toilet seat cover!.Bed however comfortable and breakfast acceptable. Our other stay was less dissapointing as rooms much nicer
