“Average”

The quality of furnishings in the room was at best average. Service was friendly. The evening meal was excellent consisting of a buffer starter, a plat du jour or an a-la-carte main course and a buffet dessert. Both buffets were excellent offering a wide choice of tasty and enticing dishes. The main course was extremely tasty. The quality of the food could not be faulted. The hotel was slightly let down by the ambience of the room.

“Uninspiring business hotel”

Situated in an industrial estate, although very convenient for motorway links, this hotel is cheaply built and operated, but with not particularly rates. The service was borderline, the breakfast was poor, and the room was minimal. Especially poor was the lack of AC on a hot day, with the very loud motorway outside the necessarily open window. The restaurant did do a reasonable dinner however. Overall disappointing as a quiet leisure stop.
