“Perfect”
We arrived at 10.30 pm and the reception was still open. Extremely friendly staff and recently refurbished rooms. Rooms are small but well designed and extremely clean. We had a family room which was spotless and they had even put a cot just in case our daughter was is 2.5 years old did not want to use the single bed. They also ad a special blanket for the cot in a shape of a god, which our daugher reluctantly left behind. The location was perfect for us as we were flying the following morning, but it is not really a touristic spot. Basically perfect for us
“Very good for closeness to airport”
We stayed one night as we had an early morning flight to catch. Very conveniently located a few minutes walk from the terminal. Unfortunately the outdoor swimming pool was out of action due to the time of year - even though it was October it was 24C, and warm enough for us!. The hotel receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, room clean and an en suite bathroom- all we needed. Would certainly stay again.
“May be better when improvement carried out”
Hotel looks tired both inside and out. Plans on display of proposed improvements. Hotel did not provide meals other than breakfast and therefore necessary to eat out in Limoges or use the restaurant at the airport. Also stayed at an Ibis on this trip and although more expensive than Les Alizes it was worth the extra cost.
“Pretty Far Out in the Countryside”
This Hotel was far out in the countryside- quite a ways from the center of Limoges or the Autoroute. Though it was next to the airport, it was hard to find because the hotel was under construction and the sign was flat down on the ground. Once we found the building, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The airport restaurant was the only one nearby and the supper food was good and decently priced, but the service was very slow. In the morning, the continental breakfast (for an extra 6.50 Euros) was a true continental (bread, fruit, yogurt and coffee). The beds were fairly comfortable, but since the hotel building is aging, our door kept jamming until the concierge came and fixed it herself with a screwdriver. Unfortunately, we left our camera recharger and electrical adapter, most likely due to the hidden location of the outlet in our room- and we didn't discover it until we wanted to take pictures later that afternoon in the Louvre in Paris.
“Poor version of Etape.”
Very similar to Etape Hotels in decor and facilities. .No reception after 11pm. Lights in corridor work on timer switch, so try to get to your room before the lights go out. Cleaner walked into my room without knocking at 8 am. There was a private party in the dinning room until 3 am. Children where running wild up and down the corridors until 3 am. No staff to complain to. No facilities for hot drinks (no Kettle or vending machines. Rang the bell several times at check out but no one turned up. At an airport frequented by British expats you would expect the reception staff to speak some English. I tried to speak in French as much as I could but when I got stuck and asked if they had smoking rooms I was told that they did not understand and spoke no English. Clean Hotel and ideally located for airport. but nothing in the way of services so keep your car.
