“Unwind in comfort”

Hotel excellent value for money, well positioned and very friendly staff. Limoges itself is a lovely old town, but beware, most shops are closed Mondays, out of season not the best time to visit.

“A very pleasant surprise”

French chain hotels are exactly noted for their modern look and feel but the Mercure in Limoges was a very pleasant surprise. Great location, nice rooms with good facilities and pleasant staff. No English speaking tv channels was a bit of a pain but hey ho and having to pay for wifi is very annoying but minor gripes really. Will definitely stay there again should we be passing through.

“average hotel in dreary area”

More suited to the business traveller.The public areas were smart but the room we stayed in was very shabby. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, a grubby looking bath with a pathetic overhead shower with no curtain or screen leading to a wet, slippery floor.The bed was comfortable though.
