An experience !!!Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Receptionist was helpful and very apologetic about the takeaway found in the bedside draw
Cons: Better cleaning and the breakfast needs sorting !!! Ps would have appreciated a tip off not to leave your car under the tree in the car park !!!!!
Location: Location good for the golden wedding we were attending
Hotel room very small. Could here the conversation clearly from the next room especially at 2am !! Found the previous visitors Macdonalds take away in the bed side cabinet !! Breakfast was 2 sittings but when we arrived at 9.15 nothing had been cleared away and the quality below average It was an experience not to be repeated. For the price I expected a lot higher standard !!

Nice hotel in townPosted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: Mainly how I was treated by receptionist
Cons: In the morning when a taxi came to pick me up, night receptionist did not attend the drivers call to inform me that taxi had already arrived.
Location: I could not recommend anything because I went on bussiness trip

Tired and lackingPosted Nov 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
First, shown a "standard" room that one couldn't swing a cat in. Then shown an "executive" room which was a little bigger. Both double rooms had only one reading bedside light and that was tiny, conveying a "cheap and nasty" feel. The toilet seat had a mind of its own, ambushing the sitter with its sudden swivel. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast satisfactory, although one could have worn the bacon, being so overcooked!

Almost Very GoodPosted Oct 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was compact but clean and adequate for the money. The one thing, and it's silly, that would stop us from using it again was the noise from adjacent rooms bathroom fans, they actually woke us up! It's an old building so sound insulation isn't great but you could live with it but the extraction fans were awful, a real shame as the location is great and the staff very nice and helpful.

A convenient low cost hotelPosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: Staff were pleasant
The hotel was clean but a little shabby. The bedroom was small, the en-suite particularly so. However I had chosen a budget hotel, and it offered value for money.

Good Hotel in Romford LocationPosted Sep 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a good hotel if someone needs one in the Romford location. I stayed in a couple and this was the best. Clean and comfortable room, if on the small side, with good breakfast included and Internet. Some initial problems with the Internet, but fixed by staff quickly.
