Beautiful property & awesome cave!Posted Aug 11, 2014
Beautiful property, very convenient to Volcano. Breakfast goodies in room were very good but beds and pillows should be replaced. However, the cave alone is worth the stay!

Great propertyPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Loved lova tube tour on the property. Very unique
Cons: The room is a bit outdated but loved the property and the breakfast.
Location: Lava tube tour and volcano national park
Didn't enjoy the room but it had everything that we needed. Great property. Great owners.

Location: The room is close to the Volcano National Park..
You MUST locate the B&B before dark or it is impossible to find. The office is not well marked and there are low hanging tree limbs on the driveway that must be identified in the light.

Overnight stay.Posted May 7, 2014
Only stayed one night, but room was clean and comfortable. Nice choices for light breakfast and coffee without leaving the room. Didn't have time to tour the lava tube, but staff was extremely accomodating in every way. One thing is it's a little difficult to find initially, but a good location near the park.

Must see lava tubesPosted Apr 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great place to stay because of proximity to Volcano National Forrest and on grounds Lava Tube tour. Amenities are acceptable for B&B but lava tube tour exceptional and included. Family was very nice.

Very close to volcano park. A very nice wooden cottage in a beatifulgreen wood, it can be a bit diffficult to find after dark, so remember to bring your flashlight. The owners are freindly and helpful, and the even have their own lavetube, which the invite you to see.

overall a good dealPosted Mar 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The towels smelled a bit dank, the breakfast was a continental one in the room (not a typical B+B breakfast) but did include a yummy homemade banana/pineapple bread. The highlight of the stay was a tour of a lava tube on the property!

Close to the Volcano National Park.Posted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: The comfy bed and that there was a heater in the room to take the chill out of the night air
Cons: The floor could be washed and the carpets cleaner
Location: You can visit the whole island from this location. The Volcanoes National Park is close so that is a bonus for visiting during the day and night.
We spent 10 nights at this bed & breakfast. It suited what we used it for and that was to shower and sleep. The bed was very comfortable. The floor was a little dirty for my liking but I was able to ignore that because we did not spend much time there. The owners were pleasant but we did not see much of them because we didn t spend much time there. The continental breakfast was sufficient to get us through to lunch. Remember that you are at a higher altitude and it is at least 15 degrees cooler than in Hilo. The owners would always leave a light on for us as it was usually late when we would get back to the lodge. All in all our stay was fine.
