Beautiful condo - great pool - super service!

“Castle Halii Kai -- Fantastic”

This was a last-minute reservation made the day before checking in. Everything went smoothly. The Condo was ready and then some. We had no idea when we booked what a lovely, homelike atmosphere there would be when we "moved in." The two days spent could easily have grown to a week (if we'd had the time). At the price and with the accommodations, we felt right at home. Thanks to the folks who rented it through the office.

Beautiful, well appointed condo in a lovely setting. One little maintenance issue was dealt with immediately. Has a lovely restaurant overlooking the ocean. It was a pity it didn't stay open late but we were there at the very beginning of summer. Would definitely go back and have already recommended it to someone.

This was our Anniversary Trip and our first trip major trip with out the kids in 10 years. Not knowing much about the Big Island I relied heavily on recommendations and ratings. There is always the feeling in the pit of your stomach have I chosen the right place. However, the look on my wife's face eliminated all concerns - she was thrilled. Awesomely equipped. Immaculately clean. Incredible amenities. Our flight was delayed an hour+ due to headwinds and access was available for us despite arriving after hours. Staff super friendly. Could have stayed on the property of the resort and never left!!!! Would stay again and again.

Being a time-share condo rental, there were no crowds, here. Very peaceful. The grounds were meticulously maintained. Condo was well equiped for our week stay (with kids). The whole gated-community thing, though, is kind of weird.

Great location. The condo / townhome....5 stars !!!! We stayed at 17-G and it was GREAT !!!! The pool was nice, sunsets out of this world and the best beach was only 5 min drive. If you go and stay at this place, you will fall in love. Quiet, peacfull and very relaxing. Thats what I call a vacation !!!!

“Castle Halii Kai is the Big Island's Hidden Treasure”

New, spacious, private condominiums with private pool area and bar. Grounds were unbelievably well-manicured. Pool always had available chairs and was quiet, even with children. Small bar area even had happy hour from 4p-5p with half price beer, wine and mai tais. Condo worked perfectly for us with king bed for my husband and me and twin beds for our boys. We went to Costco the first morning and stocked up but still enjoyed a few free breakfasts with our package at the pool that included cereal, pastries, fruit, juice and hard-boiled eggs. We don't like crowds and appreciate the privacy of this development. We walked next door to the Hilton to see the dolphins and were glad we weren't in that crowded, noisy mess.

The complex is beautiful, we were a little wary due to the negative reviews but when we arrived we found a beautiful room and the pool is gorgeous, there is some shade to be found if you look so that was not a problem. We had a wonderful time and would go back.
