Loved it!Posted Oct 13, 2013
We stayed for a week in unit 23C. I was a little nervous since some of the reviews I read we're very poor about the different units and being owned and rented out in poor condition and dirty and you never knew which one you were getting until a few days before. But I decided to book with them and give it a chance. The area was very easy to find unlike some of the reviews that said it was hard to find, we had no problem. Our unit was very close to the entrance which was nice and about a 10min walk to the pool.our condo was in perfect condition with all the amenites you could ask for. It was truly a beautiful, spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath garden view condo. The pool was beautiful overlooking the ocean and perfect for toddlers. Food/drinks at the restaurant was a little pricey but very good. Overall the area is very peaceful and walking distance to the hilton and a short drive to Queens and Kings Marketplace.I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Estate and unitPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: as above. A lot of items were there for use on beach etc. Great touch
Cons: Was perfect
Location: Hapuna Beach, I have seem a lot of beaches and this got to be close to the very best.
Stayed in 21c. An Oasis in the middle of lava fields. Absolutely spectacular and the whole estate great. Lovely pool and gym area overlooking the ocean.

Family weekend getawayPosted Aug 21, 2013
Cons: Parking....we had a 3 bedroom condo and 2 cars, but there was only parking for 1 car outside the condo and we had to look for "visitor" parking
Location: Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby
We loved our condo! Location was great, the condo itself was gorgeous! We enjoyed the pool and "happy hour" at the poolside bar & grill. Invited family over to swim (they stayed at another condo) and the pool was perfect for the 2 year old and the 5 year old! Too bad our stay was so short!

Luxury without the crowds and cost.Posted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hali'i Kai was perfect for our 5 day stay on the Kohala Coast. Beautiful location, close to shops and restaurants, trips up and down the West side of the Big Island, and sunset trip up to Mauna Kea. Recommend staying a night in Volcanos (3 hour drive from Kohala) and then making a stay at Hali'i Kai. Our unit had all the beach gear, great appointments. Pool was gorgeous; food at the restaurant was not terrific, though. Small resort feel with a ton of luxuries - at about half the cost of staying at the Four Seasons or Mauna Kea. No crowds and plenty of peace and quiet.

Relaxing stay at Halii KaiPosted Aug 16, 2013
Great stay! - Accommodations are close to all of the amenities you expect in Waikoloa but Halii Kai is situated so that apartments, club house, and pool are quiet and feel like a private resort.

Halii Kai was excellent for the whole family.Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Comfortable beds, well decorated, great pool setting, excellent location.
Cons: Did not have maid service other than changing towels and removing garbage 2X per week.
Location: Central location to beaches, towns. Easy to get to from airport.
Our stay at Halii Kai was excellent. We stayed in a very spacious 3 bedroom condo that was tastefully decorated and loaded with conveniences - from a very well stocked kitchen to a collection of CDs and DVDs. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable allowing for well-rested adults and children. The pool was an excellent place to start the day - or better yet end the day while watching the sun set. Sometimes we would choose to order our meal by the pool - a wonderful option to have! Very relaxing, very comfortable. 30 minute drive to Kailua-Kona or to the harbour. Extremely easy to find from the airport.

They had to peel me away.Posted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very relaxing and quiet. It may not be the best location for families with young kids. But if solitude is important this is a great place. 5 minute drive From the beach restaurants and shopping.
