“Brand new condo”

Our stay was in room 211. The room had just been remodeled. New paint, tile, appliances, etc. It was perfect.

“Kona Bali Kai a wonderful family vacation place!”

My family (including 7 children) enjoyed the spetacular ocean views with all the conveniences and comforts of home with the fully furnished kitchen and in-room washer/dryer. The staff were accommodating and friendly. This family vacation was so wonderful that we are already planning to return in November for a longer stay. I definitely recommend Kona Bali Kai for family vacationers looking for a wonderful getaway that is children friendly!

“Thumbs Up to this place it was great”

This was our first stay in a condominium resort and we were very pleased. Our only disappointment was that we were out sight seeing and didn't take full advantage of all this place had to offer.

“We had a GREAT stay!”

We are condo owners in Hawaii and had to postpone our Feb. trip until March. We ended up at Kona Bali Kai because of an advertized package deal too good to pass up. The staff members were all very friendly. The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated. During our stay the weather was very temperate and lack of a functioning air conditioning unit was really no big deal. The ocean breeze through the sliding door screen was sufficient to keep us comfortable. In the future, if conditions require us to stay someplace other than our condo, we will most certainly consider Kona Bali Kai as a viable option. Thank-you for a wonderful stay!

“Castle Kona Bali Kai should be renamed Dungeon Bali Kai....”

Apparently each unit varies with amenities. This one had no remote TV unit; the kitchen blinds didn't work for privacy. The room is "very" dated, and in need of a remodeling - it's not even worth the discounted rate per night. They call it a condo resort? Having the bed in the living area with shoddy furniture and ripped carpet, a lighting on the wall, slightly above the wobbly wicker table, is not my idea of a "resort". Lots of traffic noise seeping through the A/C. Kitchen outdated, and bathroom with deteriorated chalking around the washing bowl: need I go on? Very disappointed with this hotel, and would not recommend it to anyone, even on a shoe-string budget....

“Very Clean, spacious and close to attractions and shopping!”

This condo was a little older, but the staff was very friendly and it was very clean!! Laundry on site was a plus and the room was very spacious. Also, we went to a Luau and did the Submarine ride and we were very close to both attractions. Shopping was just down the street. We were a five minute drive from a great beach with lots of sea turtles and seven miles from the Kona airport. Very convenient!! Overall, extremely satisfied!!

“Right on the water, this place rocks”

We got a killer unit on the top floor. There were spinner dolphins and whales playing in the ocean just off the balcony. The complex is right on top of a reef where locals come to catch waves. Lots of stuff in the unit to make your stay comfortable.

“Would love to stay there again!”

We had a very enjoyable stay. Had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sound of the waves was wonderful. Didn't want to leave.

“We could have moved in and called it home”

You can't get any closer to the ocean. Great quiet location a few miles away from all the tourist traffic in Kona. Lots of space to spread out in these 1 bedroom units with kitchen. Bali Kai offers great value, great location. We could have moved in and called it home.

“Much better than I expected, will love to stay here again!”

This was said to be a standard accomadations, but we had an amazing 2 bedroom oceanview room with a fully equipped kitchen, in room washer & dryer, 2 full baths. It was well decorated, very very comfrotable, well kept. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The most amazing thing was sitting on the lanai(porch) and watchimg the ocean waves hit the rocks right in front of us. The employees at the hotel did a great job and were so nice and helpful!!!! Also, the pool and the hot tub were very nice as well.
