Best hotel stay I have had in quite a while. Clean rooms, prompt service, and centrally located. We will definately stay here again.

“Excellent value for especially since what I paid was a steal.”

I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the staff and quality of upgrades of the room. Free wifi and softness of the beds were fantastic. I travelled withmy extended family, all members were completely satisfied. The only thing was the downstairs some of the shops were getting a small remodel. This did not affect our stay there.

“Great location”

This hotel is in a GREAT location!! It is located on Ali'i Drive, which is the main drag of Kona. Great shops and great food line Ali'i Dr. the hotel is newly remolded. Our room looked just like the picture on their website. It was perfect! We had a fridge in our room which was a plus. We went to Wal-Mart the first day and bought bottled water to keep in our fridge. The luau here was awesome. Although the pack about 300 people into each luau. Get there early to get good seats or pay the extra money for preferred seating. The only complaint I have about this hotel is the laundry facilities. They only had 3 washers and dryers. And all of them were full due to another guest using them and a hotel employee. It really upset me that there was a hotel employee using them when guests were trying to. It took me more than 2 hours to one load of laundry because of the employee. the employees manager even came in to see what she was doing. The manager told her to let guests go first and then she started putting in another load! I would definitely stay here in the future.

“Great stay”

Stayed for a week and had a great time. Even though we had a car we spent alot of time walking Alii Dr. so the location was excellent. The room was always clean when we returned from exploring. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The newly reopened Honu Restaurant was fantastic, good food and excellent views.

“Can't waite to go back!!”

This Hotel was great! The service was warm and outstanding. The rooms have been remodeled and were beautiful. The food was very affordable and very good. the pool was nice and refreshing and having a sand y beach was awesome. I recommend this hotel... Just a short walk into town that is bordered by a seawall. This hotel is for families or just going solo.. I will return again to enjoy the beauty there.

“Would book again....”

The rooms were nice, clean and the hotel centrally located. Beautiful pool & bar with small beach right out in front. Hotel staff were helpful. We liked that you could walk to lots of nice restaurants / shops. Also, if you wanted a snorkel or wale watching trip could book right outside the hotel. We were really happy with the King Kamehameha Hotel and would book it again.

“3 stars?! Are you kidding me?”

I've stayed in Hiltons, Marriotts, Swiss Hotels, etc. This place was at least on par with them. I'd say better. The rooms were amazing. Flat screen TV, comfy beds, in room mini fridge, and the bathrooms were all granite with Bath & Body Works soaps. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. If you see a review of this place saying it's dated, then that review is dated! They have renovated this entire hotel, and the attention to detail shows. The only thing I didn't care for was the loud motorcycles going up and down the main strip at night, but that's the price you pay for being in the heart of Kona on the beach.
