“Good hotel”

Very decent hotel for the price.

“Inexpensive and charming”

Older, Yes, but with a charm that my wife and I both enjoyed. The gardens, koi pond, and proximatey to everything we wanted was great. The service was friendly and homey, non of the pretension seen at other more expensive hotels.

“Great deal/wonderful free breakfast/will go back again.”

Having only stayed in expensive resorts in the islands previously, i was expecting a total dive for this low price. However, our travel plans necessitated a quick trip (one night) to the big island, and this was the only hotel available on that day (i hate B&B's which seem to predominate). So, i booked it. It is older, kinda cramped, and has terrible parking, but the room was spotless, comfortable, and the free breakfast was the BEST i had on my entire trip. I would stay here again anytime! Oh, and the lady at the front desk was wonderful. They will store your bags, they offered me a free late check-out, and were all around extremely good.

“Everything I Expected”

The Hilo Seaside sits in a great location. Several restaurants and hotels are a short walk away. All staff were extremely friendly from arrival to departure. There is a restaurant on site but my party opted to dine elsewhere. The oversized tropical pool was enticing, unfortunately time did'nt allow for a dip. Would enjoy a longer stay there, perhaps 5 days as opposed to two. Only negative is limited parking.

Very relaxing stay with a nice dining area in the hotel, other eatery's nearby. About a mile from the airport and shopping mall.

“Great Stay!”

Not only a bang for your buck, but Seaside was very good to stay at. Clean and simple. The complimentary breakfast was not some lame continental thing, but you get to choose from a full spread of a real meals. The hotel was also in a very convenient location. It's not by the seaside, but you do get a nice view of the bay and ocean from across the street. My only complaint was housekeeping would start vacuuming early (8am) so it prevented us from sleeping in. We would stay again!

All the staff was very helpful. You do need to rent a car. Not with in walking distance to atractions. I will recommond the hotel. and I would stay there again. .

“Comfort and Beauty”

the front desk was friendly and efficient...the hotel was well maintained and beautifully decorated...the rooms were clean and comfortable and the adjacent restaurant had great food and service as well

The street noise during the day was loud, but at night it was quiet. The Koi pond and grounds were beautifully done. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was large and clean.The restauarant was quiet and very good food.
