The motel was very nice with two pools for swimming. We went swimming in both swim pools. The rooms were spacious and clean. Ours was very quiet at night. We always slept well. The maid came each day and gave us everything we would need for the day. The people at the front desk were very accommodating and would show us places we wanted to see or tell us where a good place to eat was. Everyone was very happy and nice. We enjoyed them very much. I would go back to this motel in a heartbeat.

Hotel rooms weren't extraordinary but will work great if you are on a budget travel.

This hotel occupies a near perfect location just off Alli Drive, the pier, shops,resturants, activities, etc. Everything within walking distance. The rental car I used to explore all other parts of the island and didn't even need in Kona area. The hotel had laundry facilities that we used twice, tried both pools, and all nearby eating places including the shopping center and Wal-mart. I would call Kona Seaside a three star hotel with a two star price. In addition, the staff of individuals that work the front desk are excellent.

“Five days in Kona”

My wife and I spent five days at the Kona Seaside Resort. The room and service exceeded our expectations. A free breakfast was included with our plan, and the breakfast is highly recommended - especially the coffee. We did not eat any other meals at the hotel and cannot comment on them.

“Always my Favourite”

The location and the hotel are perfect for my needs. The beds are comfortable and the service each day is just great. I spend most days touring the island and the location is perfect for that. The hotel is located in the town close to the water and I am able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and places where activities are with ease. The cost is right!

good local hotel near airport, restaurants, historical sites, shopping and a beach. we especially liked a good free breakfast with a lovely Hiwaiian lady singing and playing the ukele while we were looking over the beach.
