“Relaxing time”

Even though it is 30 miles to town it was a great place to stay. No restaurants close but several big resorts. The grocery store is only a couple minutes drive and they had everything you could need. Including liquor at very reasonable prices. The staff was very helpful, the grounds are well kept, The hot tub was great. They just installed an artificial putting green with 6 holes. The breakfast groceries were a good deal. What was delivered was worth the $30 it cost. Wild turkeys were fun to watch as were the golfers. Make sure to go to the Monday night get together. Kevin was great. He corrected a mistake I made with my debit card. We enjoyed the stay and it was very relaxing.

This hotel was probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in.

Condo had large, well equipped kitchen. Roomy and well furnished unit. Quiet and peaceful setting on golf course edge. Pool was a little cool. Very helpful staff. Sometimes the wind blows fairly hard; other times very calm. Good location to visit both sides of the island.

“Great Surprises.”

Beautiful location. The condo unit was outstanding. I enjoyed the wild turkeys,and Nene geese. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Every thing was wonderful. I liked the fact that we were above sea level and had a great breeze that kept the air comfortable. The view was amazing.

“Exceptional Value!”

We had booked with Expedia, which included a breakfast grocery package. Very nice added bonus. The condo was very spacious, and included cleaning service daily. The condo was equipped with everything that you would need, and we definintely saved a lot of $ cooking. We would definitely come back, it was an exceptional value! Only thing is it was a bit farther away from town but with a car it wasn't a problem

It was a fantastic place to be. A little far from the ocean but that was a minor technicality.

“Great Hotel.”

We were extremely satisfied with the hotel. Nice location, friendly customer service, spacious kitchen, and just overall very spacious... All for a reasonable price. The only shocking part was that, there's an extra charge for AC. After refusing, we realized that the air is cold at night anyways so there was no use for AC. The ceiling fan was perfectly fine, AC is not needed unless you plan to spend your vacay in the room! The only bad part was that there are no open eateries after 12 (or something around that tiime). So if you get hungry after those hours you need to just suffer or stock up your kitchen. Everything was great. I would highly recommend this place, and would definitely return again.

“Wow, what a find!”

Our stay at Paniolo Greens was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and everything exceeded our expectations. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable and spacious living room/dining room, beautiful patio looking over the golf course, in-unit washer and dryer (with soap!). This hotel made for the perfect relaxing vacation on the Kona side of the island. Yes, it is several miles inland from the coast, but we preferred that because it really felt like a "getaway" when we were in our villa. Plus, the supermarket up the road was a great resource for us. Daily light cleaning was provided (not sure what made it "light" since everything was done for us--dishes, bedding, towels, etc), and everyone we encountered was helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again if we are fortunate to visit the beautiful island of Hawaii again.

“Highly Recommend Paniolo Greens”

I was exceedingly happy with our stay at Paniolo Greens. Our unit was spacious, clean, and filled with great amenities like washer/dryer. In August it was cool enough that we did not need air-conditioning. The kitchen was well-stocked. The breakfast package fed the two of us breakfast for the entire week. A grocery store is within 5 minutes driving distance. We enjoyed the turkeys running around the golf course each morning. In the morning I left our breakfast dishes in the sink, intending to wash them when we returned, and each day the cleaning staff washed them for us! The staff was friendly, honest, and helpful. The snorkeling rental from Paniolo Greens was convenient and reasonable. I recommend also renting a life jacket to make snorkeling super easy!

“Nice condo on the Big Island”

This hotel is away from the touristy attractions of Kona and Hilo. Waikoloa is burgeoning resort destination and this hotel is about 6 miles from the resort areas. The hotel room I stayed in faced the golf greens so at times in the morning, there were golfers outside my window. It had a full kitchen and a grocery store near by which made eating in convenient.
