Beautiful grounds and private waterfall.Posted Jun 29, 2015
Our first bed and breakfast. Everyone was nice and welcoming. You have to take your shoes off at the door so the floors are much cleaner than anywhere I have stayed. Perfect setting. Great breakfast. Only concern I had when I arrived was no A/C. Never needed it. The room stayed the perfect temp and left the windows open to listen to the waterfall.

Beautiful inn on the fallsPosted Jun 18, 2015
From the second we got there the expeience was everything we hoped for and more. All you can hear at night is the falls and wildlife. It was truly breathtaking. All of the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Not to mention swimming in a water fall was one the the coolest things I have ever experienced. I highly recommend this hotel and this one of a kind expeience.

Night at the InnPosted May 1, 2015
Pros: The breakfast and the setting of the inn was very relaxing and restful.
Cons: The bed was a little softer than they were used to sleeping on.
Location: Just away from the hubbub of Hilo...a nice change of pace for vacationing.
My son-in-law enjoyed taking pictures of the falls that was viewed from the lanai. A very nice breakfast was served in the morning and eaten on the lanai. The sounds of the falls and the frogs were soothing to sleep by, but the bed was a little softer than used to sleeping on. Very restful place to stay for the night away from the hubbub of Hilo.

Vacationing in the Big Island of HawaiiPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Privacy and beautiful setting.
We were visiting Hilo for a couple of days and needed a place to stay. I was in 'ahh' to find such a peaceful, beautiful, and private get-away. The deck where breakfast was served made for an extra bonus to be able to see and enjoy the falls. The food was good, too!

best kept secret in hawaii ---shhhhhhhPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: the waterfall!
Cons: just try to remember the name of the house you booked and the name of your room, although this is posted outside the main bldg.
Location: long private driveway, go in the light the first time. 20 mins to hilo airport and akaka falls, although you really don't need akaka after this.
absolute nervana. a 100 ish foot waterfall outside your balcony. private. amazing. your own rainforest. very zen. very japanese. very hip and hippie.you live in room in a pagoda, shared kitchen and common space downstairs. amazing hawaiian breakfast overlooking the waterfall every morning. complete peace.

Beautiful scenery and waterfall.Posted Mar 29, 2015
Located six miles from Hilo on a remote property with beautiful waterfalls and scenery. Very peaceful and quite. Excellent breakfast served on a covered lanai while viewing the waterfall.

Hidden gemPosted Mar 28, 2015 on Hotels
The Inn is off the beaten path, yet still close to downtown Hilo. The setting is breathtaking and the rooms very cosy, with the sound of the waterfall in the background adding ambience. They have self check-in, so just look for your name on the board by the "residence" and the keys will be in the door. Breakfast was great, on the lanai overlooking the waterfall and the staff were very friendly. I went to look for information on checkout (where to leave the key, etc) but the staff seemed to all be engaged in yoga practice. No wonder the place is so tranquil. Walk down to the falls and go for a swim in the pool below it - it's great!

Romantic settingPosted Mar 21, 2015 on Hotels
Arriving to our lovely Jasmine room was a treat. The staff goes the extra mile to provide a perfect experience, from the delicious macadamia waffles to tips in Hilo to enjoy. Stroll the Bamboo Garden to the pond beneath the amazing falls, paddle a kayak or standup paddle board. Tranquility is the theme here. We did wish to upgrade to a room with a view on our second night, but were denied. That room sat empty all night. Not sure if this was a Hotel.com or innkeeper issue.
