Initially the front desk staff weren't so professional. We had issues getting the room we reserved and only after Expedia's help we got what we paid for. Also the so-called Honey-moon upgrade was nonexistent. I understand it is only available when possible, but how often does that really happen? Not even the promised champaign glasses. Also, with the fees on-site adding up so much, it really becomes a whole another deal than the one you initially thought it is. I will say this, the breakfast buffet is excellent and is a good deal.

Great hotel for anniversary stay. We loved the room, beach, pools, and location in waikiloa. It's great being next to both king and queens markets.

It was a great time the hotel and staff were wonderful especially pete at the bar. Nice pools great beaches an awesome place to get married luau was great all in all just a great trip!!!!!!

Nice hotel with private beach and several pools

Pros: Great location and very clean.
Location: Across from King's and Queen's Shops and less than a mile walk to visit the Hilton also. Plenty of beach activities at this location.
This is our favorite hotel for a low-key, relaxing stay in Waikoloa. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed. Everyone is friendly and the hotel is right across from the King's and Queen's Shops (restaurants, shops, etc.). October is a great month to visit if you want to avoid crowds.

Great hotel and facilities

Cons: have extended parking hours for guests with late flights. the hotel has hospitality rooms but parking on your last day ends at 1pm.
wonderful place to say, the entire property is well-kept, staff are helpful and courteous, and their pools are great. the view from our room (upgraded to pool view which had a partial ocean view as well) was amazing. noise was not an issue unlike other hotels with thin walls and banging doors. the room itself was average. housekeeping forgot to replenish coffee supplies one day but no big deal. pluses include the business center which is open 24 hrs, spa, very comfortable sofas/couches all over the lobby for lounging, and access to the beach. i think the hotel should allow extended parking hours for guests who have checked out. we checked out on time at 12pm (late check out was not an option due 100% occupancy), but we were able to use the hospitality room to change, freshen up, etc. before actually leaving as our flight was at 11PM. however, we had issues leaving the parking lot as our room card no longer worked. hopefully the hotel can consider extending parking hours upon request for this scenario, as an added benefit with the Resort Fee. note as well that the parking lot was only half full that afternoon.
