Convenient location right on the beach

Posted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: Location and service for the price.
Cons: The tennis court.
We stayed here for two weeks for our tenth anniversary and received friendly and helpful service at all times. The restaurant was excellent and the beach was one of the top four in the area. Our pool lounging was relatively low key and quiet with plenty of shade available and a variety of pools to chose from. We had a fantastic luau experience and the view from our room was exceptional. There were lots of fun activities and restaurants in the area as well. We look forward to our return.

Sehr schönes Hotel

Posted Dec 10, 2014

Loved every bit of our stay here.

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: Pools, fish ponds, direct access to beach, ping pong table, nice fitness center, etc...
This was perfect for us. Price was great when booked with air. Hotel was comfortable and the pools/fish ponds/beach was so great. We spent the first two days here before venturing out on the island. We loved it. Queen's market nearby was a plus! Perfect for our kids!!

Beach facilities and foods

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Pros: the sight seeing of the ocean
the hotel was so near the beach but the facilities in beach were so poor, for example there were no jet-ski on water or snorkel tour in beach. In Honolulu one of my friends go to a hotel which take the residence of hotel who can swim for snorkeling, In addition some of the hotels have Ultra All inclusive package which means all of the food in beach and in hotel coffee shop is on ressort fee, I think it is a very pleasant for the guest . In sum your hotel was so good and we enjoy from it very much.

Great beach hotel and journey starting point

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Beach, Pool, Breakfast
Cons: Things to do in the evening
Location: "Cowboy" North, Waimea, Mauna Kea, Kona, Hilo, Snorkeling, Swimming, Scuba Diving
The hotel beach is absolutely beautiful. It's protected by a bay, so the sea is nice and calm. You can also do a little snorkeling, although the visibility is limited. Sea turtles land here every other day. The hotel is also nice, although it's a little too quiet in the evenings. The hotel is also a great starting point for trips to other parts of the island. It sits right in the middle between the beautiful landscapes in the North, the beaches and sights of Kona in the south and the rainforest around Hilo in the east. All of them can be reached by car in one hour max.

Decent hotel in Waikoloa next to A-bay with some i

Posted Dec 1, 2014
The hotel was nice overall. Clean rooms, and close to the beach with good staff. However, I have to point out 3 issues I had: 1. Ocean view from my room in king kamehameha wing really meant, lawns, then swimming pool, then fishpond, and then ocean so I think that was misrepresented a bit. 2. WI fi was spotty at best 3. Rooms didn't have the best soundproofing - I had a noisy bunch stay next door half way through my stay and I could hear a lot.

Aloha and thank you for taking the time to post your comments. All feedback is an important element of our business and we value your opinion. We apologize for the challenges you experienced with the view, the WiFi and a noisy neighbor. Our property does have a setback from the beach due to the historic fish pond in between us. We thank you for the nice comments about our staff, rooms, and location and hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Good location with options

Posted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: The beach, pool and location to other meal options close by.
Cons: Better resteraunt management.
Location: 2 shopping malls near by. The beach and the historical fish ponds which provide something about the Hawaiian host culture.
This is my 2nd stay here. I like the basic environment of the hotel. The beds, safe, ironing board are great amenities in the room. The resteraunt had good service and food but is pricey. In addition to the one hotel resteraunt, their are many resteraunts across the street for other dining choices dining choices. The beach is nice as well as the historic fish ponds. Here comes what I didn't like. The pool Waite service is awful. You literally wait... If you complain, you'll get even worst service. This poor service happened on both trips. I suggest you get up and go get your own drinks and food. You'll be much happier. On both stays, I spend some time at the pool every day.
