Family, friendly and economicalPosted Feb 3, 2015
This is a fantastic place for families with children. There is plenty to keep the children entertained and relaxing gardens for the adults to unwind in. Very friendly staff. We'll stay here again.

A wonderful family fun filled stay at a hotel.Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Friendly helpful staff, great facilities and location.
Cons: Perhaps a few suggestions on what the Bay has too offer.
Location: So much, what with the shopping so close and the vicinity to the wineries. Slash planet and the beaches.
Something for all the family to enjoy at the hotel, wonderful facilities. Close to shopping and to the wonderful wineries.

4 days in TaradalePosted Nov 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
I arrived and was immediately shown to my rooms and found them in excellent condition with everything clean and tidy. The interior was very well set out with everything in the kitchen of good quality and easy to find. Much better than any other room I had whilst in NZ and would have suited more than one. Even though the room was near the main road there was no noise in the premises due to the hedge and good insulation.

Excellent stayPosted Nov 7, 2014
My whanau and I enjoyed many aspects of our stay here. One being the location of the RSA next door where we dined for lunch which was reasonably priced and delicious. Swimming pool was heated, spa hot but fabulous for tired limbs, games room was superb with the pool table, ice hockey, table tennis, computer and psp. The grounds were extremely well kept and the oranges on the tree at the back sweet and juicy. While an additional bathroom would have been perfect as there were 5 of us in the two bedroom apartment, there is simply no negative comments to add. Staff were fab and friendly, beds comfy and clean, Taradale only minutes down the road for wine supplies, New World in Greenmeadows. Thank you, see you again next year :-)

Cons: Church bell ringing through the night plus having to park a distance from unit
Location: Car away from unit
Facilities: Everyday; Value: Fair price; Service: Friendly; Cleanliness: Spick and span; We did not get the bed configuration as described on wotif which was ok for the group we had but could have been a problem if we had couples.

Pros: The Games Room.
Cons: Non-functioning 'Wifi'.
Location: Fairly close to CBD.
Facilities: Overall pretty good.; Value: Over-priced; Service: Average; Cleanliness: No problems here.; No lock on bathroom door, no 'Sky' guide - electronic or paper, too few power outlets in lounge, no cupboard space in kitchenette for food storage.
