“Stayed here previously and would def return!”

The hotel is lovely and very comfortable. The only problem that we experienced this time, which we haven't before, was the fact that the shower in the bathroom flooded the whole area of the bathroom for the full stay! The pub accross the car park is good value for money too and very convenient.

I have stayed at the Ramada Encore Haydock for over 6 months and found it to be an excellent hotel with very friendly staff. The girls who work the reception desk Stella, Sarah and the other girls have time to talk to you and wish you a Good morning and evening every time you pass. Brian the night shift Manager is one of the best hotel managers I have ever had the pleasure of talking to always has 5 mins to talk to you about your day ahead and nothing is a bother for him. This is a good hotel to stay at 5 mins from the M6 and you can take a cab to Earlstown Station for a train to Manchester or Liverpool which is not expensive if you want to go into the larger city’s for a meal and a drink. I did not eat in the hotel so I can comment on the food but it was always busy when I went past as was the bar which was priced fair and Debra serving and chatting away to her customers. The rooms are clean and well looked after by the maids. There are no baths in this hotel but each room has a wet shower area which for older people is excellent. I would have no hesitation on recommending this hotel and I can assure you that you will get excellent service if you stay 1 night or 6 months

“Very conveniant for the M6 and Liverpool”

Very helpfull staff, clean tho basic hotel, but it has what you need for a short stay. Best bit FREE telephone calls to UK land lines. Would definitly stay there again. Value for money.

Rooms very nice, modern and good bathroom, however not much storage space if travelling with a lot of luggage, more of a business motel.

We stayed at the Remada Encore as we couldn't get a reasonable hotel in Liverpool city centre. The Hotel is clean and very modern with a good pub/restaurant just across the car park. We did have to change rooms when we arrived as we found a dirty towel and not very clean toilet in our allocated room. The hotel staff moved us promptly which was also a blessing as we were given a room at the rear of the hotel away from the fairly busy dual carriageway at the front. Not bad for travelling in to Liverpool, only about 30mins away. Would use again.

Unfortunately the hotel is situated next to a double carriage way road. Friday night was very busy and noisy and didnot really sleep much due to the noise traffic up and down the road and which could be heard from our room. If you are a light sleeper, this is not for you. Saturday night there was a wedding reception held at the hotel until very late at night. It was noisy as there was a music and party atmosphere. we were on the 3rd floor and could still hear the noise until after well 1 or 2 am. The traffic was less on Saturday night or we just got imnume to it, generally it is a poor location for a hotel regarding the noisy surroundings (if you are seeking a quiet nights sleep) or facilities. There is nothing to do in the locality except a pub nearby (closes at 10.30) which was nice but location far from any general entertainment.

“Clean and Convenient”

Hotel room was clean and really convenient to St Helens Train station (only 10 min drive), because the floor was hard wood you can hear people walking around above you so that can be annoying. Bathroom was pretty clean although a bit of mould in shower and shower can overflow if water on really high. No fridge in room but staff really happy to put our milk and butter in bar fridge. Digital TV would have been nice. Free wifi in room great!
