“Great for the price”

Although the motel is close to the interstate, our room was quiet from the road noise. This is an old motel that has been updated, but they did a good job. The beds were new, clean, comfortable, great bathroom with decent towels, clean rug and nicely painted. Our only complaint was that the AC was noisy. They need to update the units. Over all, a 4+ for the money. We will go back.

Not the newest hotel in Hays, but it's right off I-70. Hotel is showing its age, but room was clean, comfortable and the beds are really comfy! Close to restaurants, Walmart, etc. For the price, however, you could stay at newer hotels across the street.

The service person is very nice. The breastfast is also very good. i like this hotel and definately would recommend to my friends.

Price is good, but all hotels should be clean and functioning.

“Decent hotel for stopover”

The free breakfast was nice and had a lot of variety in the morning. This is a decent hotel to stay in 1 night if traveling on your way to somewhere else. Rooms seem a little old.

“Very noisy A/C units”

The room was clean. Staff generally helpful. Have stayed here four times in the last three months because of location and price. But, the noisy A/C units finally forced me elsewhere. Some are like jet engines. Some are like old noisy pickup trucks. They should start replacing these units.

“Not quite worth the money.”

I did not have high expectations but the price was mid-range for the area so I thought it would be a little nicer. I will definitely try something else next time I go through Hays.

This hotel was an odd mix of characteristics. Fabulous staff and service mixed with dirty, worn-out carpeting and fixtures. The most comfortable, clean and fresh bed, pillows and linens mixed with dingy, old furnishings and paint. I liked it and hated it all at once.
