Quiet place.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Updates, cleanliness.
Location: Within 1-2 miles of downtown with lots of shopping. Same distance to Lumberjack village.
This hotel was nice; have stayed here before and they have done a lot of updating. I think there is good value for the money.

Toilet dirty. Bed linens too big. Outside temp 66 . No heat. Overall, not good experience. No security. Off closed at 10 PM

mediocre in the comfort

Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The office personnel were not that friendly and did not speak good English.
Location: Don't know really.
The hotel is okay if you just want a place to rest for the night. Clean. Continental breakfast was not pleasing. Bagels were really small. Jelly was old. Oatmeal was instant packages. The pool was cold. The hot tub was nice. I probably would not stay there again.

Hold your breath and close your eyes

Pros: Leaving
There should be a big sign at the entrance to the hotel reading 'turn back now'. The grounds were obviously not kept up. The hallway smelled like urine, the carpet stained and ripped. The mattresses were paper thin and it was apparent that cleaning the room meant light vacuuming and a perhaps a wet rag run along the counter top. The concrete around the pool area was brown - not grey. The only way I'd recommend staying here is if your a big Alfred Hitchcock fan and wish to spend a night at the bates motel.

Need to try harder

Posted Apr 3, 2012
Pros: The in-room jacuzzi was very roomy and soothing.
Cons: Lack of lighting in parking area and entry area.
Location: Older hotel that could have a lot of potential if given a little more attention.
Parking area and entrance unlit. No close ice machine. Vending machine empty. Hot tub didn't work. No continental breakfast as advertised. Premises needed a lot of repair and upkeep.

fit the need

Reasonable rates - however the clerk didn't take the time to tell me about any of the amenities or breakfast offerings.

Old motel, not hotel/inn. Not Impressed.

Posted Aug 9, 2011
The motel, not hotel, was old and smelled musty. O.K. for over night stay but not worth the charge. I have stayed at much better places for less money. This was not up to par by any means. The staff was very nice.
