nice surprise

Pros: very comfortable and roomy
Location: a little further from 6 flags in new jersey, but worth the drive
after a long day this hotel was a pleasant surprise with very comfortable beds. the breakfast offerings were also good. very pleased and would stay again.

Cons: It needs an update ---
Location: Hazlet, I was on business
the elevator needs to be cleaned badly, the rugs in the lobby need help, the curtains are torn in the room #221, the threshholds on the elevator are dirty and the overall look is due for some much needed help. and one of your employees smoke right outside the front door. lovely -- I stay at quite a few Best Western and I will tell you that this one is not the "Best" Western. Had to stay over on a late night long road trip type stop. My main complaint is that they said the room was "non-smoking" and the room REEKED of smoke, it was absolute disgusting. I was so exhausted I didn't even feel like aruging with the staff...so I slept, woke up with a sore throat, sinuses all messed up, OH and the shower filled up with water so I tried to shower as quickly as possible so I wasn't standing in dirty water, it was easily passed my ankles. Overall, very meh. Did the job of getting a couple hours of rest before driving again but, the room smelt so disgusting and the bath drainage was terrible.

Air conditioner worked great, room was clean and most important quiet. I slept like a Baby.

Nice hotel near enough to the beach by car

Pros: has a refrigerator in the room staff very pleasant right on main road with restaurants, etc.
Cons: lighting in the room outdoor pool or enclosed patio with seating so that you don't have to stay in the room when you get back from the beach
Location: near Sandy Hook State Park beaches by car (it's a drive, not a stroll) food, food, food, nice restaurants beach type shopping and also large stores
adequate typical Best Western with no frills (no pool) in beach vacation area. no serious problems. Quite a long drive from Long Island! (we met friends for a weekend), but beautiful beaches at Sandy Hook

Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: Clean it. Clean it. Clean it. Change and or clean A C.
Location: Location was close to family.
Room smelled funny. A C not clean you could see debris in it smelled. Bathroom also not clean. Dirt in corners and gritty floor. Windows also dirty in and out.

Great stay for memorial weekend w kids

Clean rooms I liked the beds Good enough breakfast- plenty to go around ( sauge, waffles, juice etc etc) Good free parking safe area easy to get around Close to CVS, restaurants, movie theater, parkway, keansburg beach and gas stations- VERY easy to get around the area The staff was VERY nice The rooms were perfect. The kids were happy The shower had good water pressure Floor was clean No smell WE were all happy I will stay there again!
