Sara at the desk was warm and accommodating.
I was travalling alone with a suitcase and a walker. I am in my 70's.
Sara found me a room on the front of the hotel on the 3rd floor so I could watch the planes take off and land at Heathrow.
She then took my suitcase and personally took me to my room and made sure I had everything I needed.
Thank you Sara.

We were looking forward to a big beautiful room for our last night. We got it. The person who checked us in was great. We opted for the Executive Club which allowed us access to a room with free drinks and canapés. It also served breakfast in the morning. A nice perk. The hotel had a shuttle to the airport, although there was a fee.

Arrived and greeted by very friendly staff . Wished we had got there earlier, we didn't get there until 9pm as was just staying over to catch an early flight. The bar by the pool was lovely, next time we will go down in the afternoon and make the most of the facilities.

When I needed to find a hotel to stay near Heathrow the night before my flight, it seems the choice was between poorly maintained small hotels and expensive larger hotels (not all of which are nice). I am glad booked Apple House; in addition to the surprisingly quiet location, it was very clean and well-maintained. It's basically a two-story residential building, in a residential neighborhood, converted to a small hotel. Parking was no issue the night I was there (available on the street and a couple of spaces in front of the building). The staff is friendly (and taking good care of the place) but the interaction was basically getting my key. They don't serve breakfast but there is a restaurant/pub down the street (crowded at dinner time). The shared bathroom/shower was very clean, everything worked. The fact it's shared wasn't a problem during my stay but not all rooms were occupied. The room itself was hardly bigger than the bed but I got a good night's sleep which is all that really mattered.
I am giving this five stars for peace of mind and restful sleep when looking for an economic solution that's not a dump near Heathrow.
