Beautiful hotel close to shops and restaurants.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel like one of the family!
Cons: No improvements are needed!
Location: Good German restaurant and minature golf within walking distance.
this hotel is extremely clean and has a wonderful expanded breakfast. The hotel staff, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies, are so friendly and helpful. Good resturants and minature golf are within walking distance, fresh fruit and cookies all day long. We can't wait to return!

Cons: The smell in rooms and cut down on chlorine.
Location: Helen GA
It was a decent hotel for the price that we paid for. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Our room had a weird smell to it. The pool, and the Jacuzzi had way to much chlorine in it.

Near downtown Helen.Posted Aug 16, 2014
The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made great recommendations for things to do in the area. The free breakfast was well prepared and had a nice variety. They had plenty of free coffee/tea and cookies in the lobby. The indoor pool was great and the pool room opened up to a patio. The only drawback was that the showerhead in the room was very tall and I could not angle it downwards.

We highly recommend Country Inn and Suites in Helen, Ga. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do in Helen. The suite we stayed in was perfect for our family of 5. It was both spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff was both friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Location: Rafting on the river is right down the road. Shopping and downtown is just a short drive or little longer walk.
This was an amazing few day getaway. Staff is super nice. I was upgraded when we got there. Very clean hotel room. Coffee is always hot in the lobby and homemade cookies are always fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel!!! If your planning to visit the area I would recommend this spot. So relaxing. Great full breakfast as well

Within walking distancePosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Proximity to eating establishments and activities.
Cons: Correct information about rollaway beds should be relayed.
Location: Town of Helen, tubing on river, mining, water falls, North Georgia Zoo, winery, mill, unique grocery store, etc., etc.
Hotel was within walking distance of most everything in the small town of Helen. Very convenient. Paid extra for five people in room and specifically called in advance requesting a rollaway bed. Was told it would be available. Upon arrival, was told there were only three rollaways and they were first come/first serve. Unfortunately, we did not have the extra bed the first of the three nights we were there.

Great hotel in beautiful Helen, GA!Posted Jul 10, 2014
Cons: The only issue I had was that the elevator was very slow and actually our second day it was out of service, but the rooms are very easily accessed fr
Location: My recommendation to visitors would be that, unless you really like crowds or have no other choice of when you can go, do NOT go to Helen in July.
While I will never return to Helen during the peak of summer, I would certainly like to return to the Country Inn & Suites. Everything was clean and cozy. My kids loved the rocking chairs in the front and the cookies in the lobby (YUM!). The complimentary breakfast was great and seemed to be well maintained. The housekeeper was very friendly and helpful, as was the front desk associate. One thing I loved about our room was the fridge which was a nice size and even had a little freezer compartment where we could put our ice packs from our cooler. The room also had a microwave, which you don't always get. The pillows were soft and fluffy, and they already had extra pillows in the room, which I thought was nice and convenient for guests. My kids liked the indoor pool while I enjoyed the spa (which is great for soaking sore muscles after an active day). Overall my family enjoyed our stay.
