They flipped the matteress: however, it was a pillow top mattress and your not supposed to flip pillow top mattresses. Also, Cauking around the tub needed to be replaced.

“Why we did not stay two nights”

Got a lttle less than we paid for. But if you like mold growing on your shower curtain, floors and hard beds facing filthy walls this is the place for you. The pool late in the evening was the best part.Left early because of this filth and I am one who usually does not complain.

“Good stay for cost”

It was off season when I went to stay here, and there was construction going on. They start the construction around 8 am, and it was very noisy. The room was nice and neat, and they kept us well stocked with towels. The pool was warm even though there was a bit of a chill in the air. Check-in and out were very easy.

“A lovely night in Helen”

The room was splendid , with gas fireplace and a balcony, that wasn't listed in the ad. Very clean, very nice jacuzzi, and king sized bed. The bathroom was clean, and well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. The only bad part was a poorly functioning coffemaker the next morning. There were some exterieor remodeling in progress, but not inconveniencing.

Clean hotel. Decent location right next to Huddle House + Wendy's.

“Oktoberfest In Helen”

We travelled to Helen to attend this year's Oktoberfest. While we've travelled to Helen, Georgia before, this was our first stay at the Super 8. We were able to check in early and everything in our reservation was correct. The hotel property, while a little old, is very well maintained and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect to attend any festivities in Helen. It's one block away from the Fest Hall and just a short three block walk to downtown Helen. So, we just parked our car at the hotel and enjoyed the festival.

“Will do it again”

The hotel was clean and neat. It is not fancy, but everything that a traveler needs. The breakfast was better than expected, yet still not restaurant quality. Therir heated pool was not. The location was within walking distance of most of Helen's restaurants and shops.

“A good place to stay for the price”

If you are looking for a five star motel then of course you will have to look else where. This is a Motel 8. Since I usually only book a motel to sleep in and not to spend my vacation in, this motel was more than adequate. A good value and great location. Within walking distance to most everything in town. By the way, if you go to Helen you have to eat at Big Daddy's. A great restaurant I highly recommend it.
