Stuff was very nice. But not happy that the pool and out tub was out of service, due to a broken water line and didn't say anything about it on the site before booking. Plus there was black water coming out of the sink.
Hi Jamie,I apologize that your stay was less than perfect. Your feedback is valuable to us and we would love to hear how to improve. If you'd like to call the hotel and ask for the manager, I could go over your stay and see what happened. Thank you for your time and business. We hope to hear back soon to sort this out.
Location was great for our purpose. Restaurant was walking distance. Continental breakfast was good. All interactions with staff was hreat.

I had a medical situation and was unable to spend. I contacted the hotel. They would not cancel my reservation or let me change my reservation to another night. Then they billed me out $30 more that my reservation was for.
Lovely - clean, nice rooms and breakfast, great staff, convenient. Would happily stay there again.

People working there were very nice. The vanity light over the mirror was too dim and I couldnt see to put my makeup on. We always stay at a Marriot and the lighting everywhere else is great. The toilet was too low to the ground, perfect for kids though. The bathtub had mildew around it and the tub was very slow to drain, nothing worse then standing in water up to your ankles. We shared with the maintenance guy and he was very concerned and I am sure he fixed that. The beds were perfect and it was very quiet. The people working at the hotel were all so nice it made up for the other things.
Very disappointed. The in-room Keurig coffee maker did not work. The front desk was notified but nothing was done. On the second day the TV broke down. Since this was a Saturday, the front desk said that it would not be repaired until Monday. I guess that if anything breaks it is just ignored. There are better hotels in the area with a more attentive staff and a better system to repair things.
We booked the room to use the pool while driving from one park to another. The pool felt like an ice bath! Needless to say we didn’t use it. We were told that there was something wrong with it. The manager let us know that it met health code standards. Unfortunately for my kid they could not use the pool due to it be too cold. Also, the overall cleanliness of the hallways was poor. There was a used Q-tip on the floor. The front desk person was very nice checking in. Overall not worth the price.
We called the hotel and they said they were all booked so we booked that same hotel on hotels.com. Thanks hotels.com
Check in was smooth and we had a good nights sleep
The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Unfortunately the wifi was down, and had been for weeks. This made checking in a much longer process. There were problems with our room keys, and the staff had to come up and issue new ones.
We checked in at 5. Right away told the pool and hot tub out of order. Would we be getting a discount? Abruptly told NO because we reserved through a 3rd party. This is not the first time this has happened. So we are not going to use Expedia anymore as the hotels use it as their excuse for anything. They had plenty of time to email us to inform about the lack of facilities. And the outrageous cost!!! $290 for one night. Helena is a two horse cowboy town, not New York City.
The 5 or 6 larger chains who had reasonable rates around $150/night have gotten together and are now charging $250-350 per night using inflation and the pandemic as their excuse. Add on another $25-50 to have refundable. And the basic rooms have not changed… 2 queen beds and a tv. Well in the bathroom they have rolled up the bathtub safety pad and tied a ribbon around it. Whoopie!
Maybe they are serving caviar for breakfast
Helena is the only quite isolated midway point from Canada to Salt Lake City. There are a few very low budget hotels here but they are really terrible.
Solution….there are alternate routes from Canada to Las Vegas and we are tired of being held hostage by these greedy Helena hotels.
And PS no cookies as advertised. All gone when we checked in although only 2 cars in parking lot. Attendant say he/she was just about cook some more. Never saw anymore.
Staff is very friendly. Very welcoming with cookies and coffee and tea. Some of the amenities were not available such as hot tub/pool but that is not a big issue. 3rd floor ice machine was down, the staff was friendly to let us know the 2nd floor ice machine is available. Overall, i enjoyed my stay and would stay again!
The gal that checked us in was very friendly. One of my coworkers that checked in with me, her lights in the bathroom were not working, but maintenance got that fixed within 10 minutes. My room had a nasal breath right strip stuck to the bathroom floor and the trash was left in under the sink, other than that the room was clean and comfy.
The room wasn’t fully cleaned, clothing from whoever stayed at the room before was in there and garbage under the hide a bed. Pool closed before time due to “maintenance” and wasn’t going to reopen until the day after we left. TV’s barely worked and would not change to any other channel other than the Marriott main screen. Overall not a good stay at all!

Hi Kinsey,I am sorry that your experience was not up to our standards and I extend my apologies. I have spoken with our head housekeeper to ensure that this does not happen in the future. The pool and hot tub issue was beyond our control the chemical delivery was delayed a month and I felt that our only recourse was to shut down them down for our guest safety until we could get the chemicals in.I do hope that next time you are in the area you will think about staying with us.
