good valuePosted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: a comfy bed that you can actually get a good night's rest in!
Location: be sure to stroll the walking mall at Last Chance Gulch, and don't miss the collection of Charlie Russel artwork at the museum (some of his best)
nothing fancy, but the price was very good for a clean, comfortable room. the bed was very comfy, much better than your average motel.

Not a great stay..Posted Nov 6, 2014
Disappointed with room conditions. Burns on bed linens, confused desk clerks, really big stains on bed comforter. Inexpensive room but poor experience all around.

One night in HelenaPosted Nov 6, 2014
Pros: We stayed in the old motel wing and liked being able to park in front of our room.
Cons: Upgrades to TV. We were told that the new addition to the hotel had flatscreen TVs and newer (better) beds etc.
Location: All we were interested in was to find a decent restaurant. There are many fast food places in the area. We opted to eat in the hotel's restaurant.
We had booked this hotel in advance with Expedia. It was adequate for our needs but nothing special. The room was small but clean.

Pros: comfortable bed and linens
Cons: towels are really small and thin, avoid the breakfast.
Location: Close to Carroll College
We were only in the hotel for a few hours on part of a road trip. Looking for cheap and convenient, this is it.

OK for the PricePosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Price, great breakfast included
Cons: Demolish the building I stayed in. The rest of the place was obviously newer and much nicer.
Location: State capital with shopping, hikes, decent family food on site and nearby. Tour the capital building. It's beautiful.
Older room on the shady side of the complex, street noise and trucks unloading were a bit of a problem, but the room was OK for the price.

Adequate and ReasonablePosted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Restaurant in hotel features "comfort food", bar has real "happy hour".
Good location close to airport, pleasant and helpful staff, but rooms generally small. Definitely request an upgraded room.

Great location and comfortable beds.Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Great beds.
Cons: Front desk check in could be a bit more friendly.
Location: Easy to get around town or back on the highway from this location.
The price was great, the beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast in the restaurant was a very nice surprise. We opted for the most affordable room so it was nothing fancy but it was plenty comfortable. I am under the impression this hotel is locally owned! With all of the increasing competition of "big box" hotel chains this place was truely a gem!

We are locally owned! The Jorgenson's family has been in Helena for over 60 years. Thanks for supporting us. We look forward to having you back.

Close to everything you could possibly need.Posted Sep 18, 2014
The hotel is old but clean and cozy. Amenities are great! Location is perfect just minutes away from everything. Breakfasts are good but not much to choose from if you get the free one.
