A Night at the Jorgenson's Inn in Helena, MT

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: When you are surrounded by mountains, any hotel becomes special.
Cons: Lower price for a little, single room. They are apparently charging for the location.
Location: Helena is the halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks; going west, you can drive through old mining towns and visit gem stores.
The room was clean; the bed comfortable. For the price, it was an exceptionally small room, with what I would call basic amenities. The lack of an elevator would make it inappropriate for someone with limited mobility (or a really heavy suitcase). I had to leave early, so I can't rate the breakfast.

Short night in Helena

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Good bed. Helpful staff. Room clean.
Cons: Not sure anything stood out in my mind.
Location: I arrived too late and left too early to say much. It was near other hotels as if in a hotel district.
Jorgenson's Inn & Suites had a shuttle waiting for me just after midnight when I walked outside of the Helena airport to the sidewalk. That was a relief after a very long day with plenty of driving and flying. The night clerk was ready to greet me at the front desk when I arrived and had everything ready for me to quickly check in, gave me my key, instructions to get to my room. Collapsed into a comfortable bet for about four hours, then the wakeup call awakened me as I'd instructed. Was ready in 15 minutes and down to check out and the clerk again greeted me, handed me my receipt, and the driver immediately took me to the airport for my early flight. I found the staff accommodating to my special needs coming late and leaving early.

Death in the family

The smell w as s the first thing that caught me off-guard because it was not like a hospital or commercial cleaners. It smelled welcoming. It was clean and I am a professional cleaner so that is a HUGE compliment. Emotions were running high and the staff was empathetic and helpful. Thank you!

I'd stay here again...

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Pet Friendly, Low Pet Fee, Great Breakfast
Cons: Slight musty smell to the room
Location: Helena was full of outdoor activities, shopping, and beautiful views.
After a multi state drive with two cats I was exhausted. The staff was great. The pet fee was very reasonable. The free breakfast cooked to order was a bonus. Other than a slight musty smell to the room, it was clean and comfortable. I felt safe and stayed an extra night.

Montana's State Capitol City

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: No boring self-serve breakfast but coupons for motel's on-site restaurant--choice of 3 menus; delicious meal served by very friendly waitress!
Location: Was there to visit State Capitol which was only a few blocks away. Very Beautiful, Montana should be very proud.
Arrived late, motel staff very friendly and helpful; offered directions and recommendations for places to eat.

Good breakfast but very bad stink

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The breakfast with 3 choices served at the table, was very well cooked.
Cons: The hotel staff should seriously look into the stink.
Location: Good location.
The hotel is located in a good location, and parking was good. However, the moment I entered the corridor, the stink hit me. The same was with the room. Later when I asked if the room was a smoking room, the reply was no. I wonder what the stink is created by.

nothing but problems

Reserved room on first floor in their newer area and on arrival found I was being placed in old area.Temporarily placed on 3rd floor and told I would be moved next day. I didn't get moved until later in the evening next day.Never had room cleaned although I was there for 6 days, though occas.had someone knock on door to give me fresh towels.Trash was never emptied.Because of all the room mess ups I wasn't even sure my bill had been resolved when I checked out. Expedia denied payment originally when I checked in because of discrepency in rm cost from what was originally reserved.Overall bad experience.
