“Barney”

OK, but that's all. For some reason, the hotel wouldn't give me a tray to take breakfast to my wife who was in a wheelchair. Something about cleaning the room. I coulr take food up, but no tray. Very inconvenient.

“Just what I was looking for”

I found the room comfortable and clean. I was in a room with an awkward layout, which made watching television odd. I was looking for a reasonably priced, clean and comfortable hotel and that is exactly what I got. The breakfast is very simple but included in the price of the room. The staff was away from the desk at checkout, so I recommend asking if checkout is necessary and indicating what time you will be there if you are in a rush. I had to leave my key and go because I had a meeting to attend.

Area recommendations

Downtown is very cute, with a walking mall and nice shops. It is a short drive to the newly restored (and gorgeous) Capitol building and historical museum, which are across the street from each other.
