It was old and would never stay there again!

Pros: nothing
Cons: It needs to be updated and cleaner!
Location: Not too far from shopping!
I didn't feel comfortable there, just found it to old and a bit dirty!

Clean and friendly staff

Pros: It was close to the freeway and reasonably priced.
Cons: The facilities like the steam room and hot spa need repair. The Breakfast could be improved somewhat.
Location: The hotel was near to restaurants and shops.
The room was clean and inviting. The pool was great however the hot spa was hot but not working, the steam room was not operational at all. The Sauna worked just fine. The Breakfast was dissapointing. They use the pre=packaged items like the cinnamon rolls, bagels and muffins however they were found to be rather old and stale. I did mention this to the staff but they did nothing about it.

Pros: Pool, Spa, Sauna, room size
Cons: breakfast location!!!!!! working Wifi,
Hotel is on the main street so not much parking, and driving a large truck or RV etc not advised unless parked on a busy side street, Hotel is on of a few that still uses KEYS, room was large and clean with a Flat screen TV, Microwave and fridge/freezer, this is an older hotel but it does have a nice inside pool and Spa with a sauna and steam room (not working) also the Wifi was not very good but was told it usually is is good, had to use the Wifi from the La Quinta from across the street which had no password on its wifi :-), biggest down side was breakfast Location which was in a very small area in reception, choice not the best either,

Cheap Dive

The hot tub was out of order, there was hair on my sheets, and the hotel looked like it had been last updated 30 years ago. I would recommend paying a little more to stay somewhere decent.

The Shilo is a great value for a low price. In room fridge and microwave. Pool, sauna and steam room. Not fancy at all but for what you pay its great.

Get worse than you pay for!

Arrived at a Hotel in poor condition. Gas station down street informed us it is in a "sketchy neighborhood. First room had dirty bed linens. Was given a new room that hadn't been cleaned and had Sheetrock rubble on floor from a hole being patched. Desk clerk offered us refund but since we booked with hotels.com he couldn't give us one. Left hotel and stayed at residence inn by airport.

The Shilo Inn in Helena is a very nice motel. Close to all the sites of Helena and reasonably priced too.
