Easy Access to I-15

Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Easy access
Cons: Update paint and carpeting
Location: Only there overnight, but there seemed to be an abundance of shopping in the area
It was easy to find and easy to get back on to I-15. The hotel is dated but it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The continental breakfast was ok and there was an attendant who checked constantly to make sure the supply of food was available. Check in was easy and the desk clerk was very helpful in providing directions and advice on places to dine. We would stay again.

Very, very disappointing, even for a budget hotel.

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Ownership, management, staffing and overall, a complete overhaul. See the experience above...enough said...
Location: Location is about the only thing this hotel has going for it. It is nicely located near the Capitol Buildings and just about any ammenity you may nee
This is a budget hotel, understood, however... ...the room was not only poorly furnished but it appeared it had not been updated since 1965. The towels and sheets were extremely used and needed to be replaced. The room had a mild, putrid smell. The air unit was extremely noisy. The bathroom was minimally stocked. The "continental" breakfast was not even that. The coffee was cold, the milk warm and the offerings beyond minimalistic. In short, if "You get what you pay for" were to hold true here, the room was not worth $10.00. I can honestly say this was the worst room experienced in a national chain...even considering the budget brand, this was unacceptable. I would NOT recommend this hotel to friends, or anyone! Save your money...and your peace of mind. Stay elsewhere...

Good price

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Price and location
Cons: It just needs the manager to hire a good painter.... and to walk thru the rooms--- take a look at edges and bath closely.
Location: It is in an excellent spot near lots!
This is an older hotel that needs a lot of care. Cleaners need to clean edges of room.... It all needs paint and doors stained or maybe even replaced. Doors outside of elevator look terrible.

Good location for our visit at reasonable rate

Posted Dec 27, 2014
Pros: Good breakfast and lobby area & pet friendly but $10.00 extra per night is a bit much.
Cons: No lock on entry door from outside into our area of the motel...no key needed...anyone could walk in and stroll around - not very safe
Door keys/ room entry were very at time frustrating and the maid kept resetting lock so our keys didn't work later in the day or evening...very frustrating to round up the desk clerk to get into our room. Glad we only had people in the room next to use one of our three nights...tin walls and you can hear every toilet flush and talking and TV next door...glad they finally went to bed!

Stay Away

Posted Dec 7, 2014
This Super 8 has fallen into bad disarray! The outside doors didn't lock and the entire place was filthy! The toilet bowl had a dirty ring in it and honestly I felt uncomfortable climbing into the sheets. Even for a low rate I'd never stay there again!

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Staff was great.
Cons: New Bed and some TLC with the plumbing.
Toilet made noises all night. Sink was plugged a little it drained very slowly. Bed sagged in the middle fine if only one person sleeping in the bed but we had two and it was hard to sleep. Wi-Fi was very poor.
