Very clean and very quiet comfortable hotel. Walking distance to the terminal is a big plus.

“Scandinavian experience”

One does not usually associate superlative lodging with airport hotels, at least in my experience. The Hilton Helsinki Vantaa Airport is a delightful exception. Lobby, hallways and rooms are decorated in a crisp, modern manner with a very Scandinavian accent. My room was compact, nicely detailed in faux and real wood, bed was large and very comfortable. Normally I am indifferent to hotel bathrooms, but this was a tour-de-force of Finnish design and function - heated slate floor, slate and glass walls, white porcelain and chrome fixtures. Food in the restaurant was excellent, with the best breakfast buffet I have seen - the usual cereal, eggs, breakfast meats along with many Finnish goodies - wild berries, smoked salmon, cheeses, pastries and breads. Dinner (I had Arctic char) at the restaurant was also delicious, but at my visit service was slow, perhaps because there were more guests than expected. Front desk staff were multilingual and very helpful, and the business center was adequate. Easy access by bus to downtown Helsinki actually makes this hotel a reasonable choice for all types of visitors.

our room was very adequate and very clean. the dining room is modern, clean and nice. however, the hotel is a trek from the terminal, especially in the snow, so make sure you have good snow boots.

“Great airport hotel”

Very convenient since you can use the airport luggage carts to take your luggage to the check-in counter. Super quiet and clean. Modern Scandinavian decor. Great breakfast buffet. For my taste the mattresses are too soft, but otherwise a great hotel!

“My Second Visit to this hotel at Helsinki airport”

This is a stunning hotel. Inside that is. The outside is consistent with the industrial next to the airport buildings you would expect. It is NEXT to the airport, but you do not hear much. The rooms are beautiful and convenient. Finnish bathrooms are interesting and beautiful and functional and this one is one of the best. I think the price with Expedia compares excellently (it is a four star hotel!) with a low-end product of a competitive chain (a 2.5 star but located in Queens next to JFK). Same price. Order of magnitude higher in quality. This was amazing. The food is expensive but excellent. Hear it again: the food is expensive and there is no other convenient place to dine. Go for it! I will stay here again as I am celebrating 10 years of Finland trips. It is so convenient for in and out of the Helsinki airport. The walk to the terminal is easy and covered as well.

“Worth flying to Helsinki to stay in this hotel!”

This hotel is wonderful for a business traveler. It is 5 minutes walking from the terminals with no stairs (elevator available). The beds are wonderful and the facilities excellent. Food is excellent. One really nice feature is that there is an early continental breakfast for travelers. This is really appreciate.
