Hotel staff could not have been better. Excellent service and information. The cost to the city center for two was 45 Euro by cab and 12 Euro by bus. The travel time was almost the same.

Place to stay for a short visit to HelsinkiPosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location, facilities, staff - all good.
Cons: Lower prices!
Location: See above. It's easy, convenient and cheap to get into Helsinki, and Finland awaits you! As do places like Tallinn, a day trip away.
Let's face it, Helsinki, like Norway, is expensive. Period. Hotels of all descriptions are expensive but against that background, the Hilton is fair. It's a cheap and easy visit to town on a daily bus / trams pass, and only a short, easy stroll with luggage from the Arrivals Hall at the airport. And, it's typical of a nice, modern Hilton.

Walk into the airportPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Comfort, and proximity to the airport.
Cons: Signs getting you to the hotel.
Location: Connected to terminal by walkway
Stayed overnight here because of an early flight. Easy to walk to the airport through covered walkway. Walking TO the hotel from the car rental drop-off was another matter--very poor signage and a lot of outdoor walking. Room was comfortable and clean, bathroom large with everything you'd expect. No time to try the breakfast.

Airport hotelPosted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: close to the airport
Ok overnight stay at the hotel - easy to get to and helpful staff. Room clean and pleasant. No noise from airport in the rooms (so had a great night sleep)

Over Night for an Early FlightPosted Sep 2, 2014
It is right there at the airport - prompt access was perfect for us. The hotel is beautiful, the room was beautiful. Staff was super helpful. Just don't order a Hamburger.

Airport of choice for overnight near airportPosted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: Free parking for hotel guests could be nice
Location: Not much to do nearby except for watching planes taking off and landing.
Hilton can be called an airport of choice for overnight stay near Helsinki airport (Vantaa): clean spacious rooms, internet access, comfortable beds and good breakfast that starts very early in the morning to make sure you have something in your stomach before you board an airplane. No other hotel is closer to the airport than Hitlon.

Rest for the weary travellerPosted Aug 6, 2014
Cons: I wish the wifi weren't so expensive.
Location: Very easy to get to/from the airport. A five minute walk.
I had a 24 hour layover between PEK and JFK and spent that time at the Hilton. It was very comfortable and the wireless was great. I loved the bathtub and the bath products, and the towels and bed were lovely. I needed an outlet adapter, and it was easy to run down and get one. The staff was very courteous and kind. I didn't eat at the restaurant because it seemed expensive. I bought my food at the little grocery store near baggage claim and kept it in the mini fridge.

Not just another airport hotelPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Location near airport, cleanliness, easy check in access to airlines.
Cons: Bed mattress could have more support
Location: Mass transit and private taxis are readily available to go to city center less than 30 minutes away.
For passengers seeking to break a long journey while in transit, this hotel provided a very convenient location to airport. One can easily walk from the airport to the hotel through a well marked covered corridor. Staff were polite, and hotel has necessary amenities for an airport hotel (restaurant, pc access, bar, airline check in kiosk)

Conveniently attached to the airportPosted Jul 27, 2014
Cons: More meal choices. The menu looked great, but not everyone wants a gourmet meal every time. Most hotels have a more informal cafe as well.
Location: Next to the airport.
Very nice hotel next to the airport. Beautiful decor, comfortable room. The only negative is the limitation of food served in the lobby bar. I would have liked to relax in the bar while having a small meal, instead ended up eating in the restaurant.
