Great location, fantastic servicePosted Jul 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
We always come back here for its great service and location. We want to be next to the Railway station, the trams and the city bus terminal to easily access other parts of Helsinki. The local fast bus to the airport (not the expensive Finnair one), leaves from a stop just 200 metres away from the hotel as well, so you don't necessarily need to take a taxi. Although not in the most attractive part of the city (next to the Railaway station square and the Casino), it is transport wise in the best location and only a short walk (300-400 metres) away from the Esplanade, Senate Square, water front and the more famous parts of touristy Helsinki. This hotel has a great breakfast (can be bit of a hit and miss in Helsinki), although this time the scrambled eggs were those floury packed ones (a definite no no in my book!). Rooms are always clean and high standard, and the hotel has a very international feel to it. The staff at the reception speak fluent English, Swedish, Russian, Chinese etc. We'll be back (as always) if you keep up the good work!

Great location, wonderful hotelPosted Jul 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a great stay at the Radisson Blu Plaza hotel, with two Executive rooms. Beds are supremely comfortable (great after long transAtlantic flight), and breakfast can't be beat. Wonderful selection of hot and cold foods, and smoothies! Loved it, would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with all the right touchesPosted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
If you plan to travel through Finland by train, you can't pick a better hotel than this one. It's a block away from Helsinki's central rail station, with rooms considerably larger than the European norm. Excellent service, and the decor combines modern and old in uniquely Finnish fashion. Two caveats: The hotel is next door to a large park that turns into a druggie hangout at night. Avoid going there after dark. And there are two Radisson Blu hotels in Helsinki, the other being the Royal. Make sure you book the right one.

Good quality, city centre locationPosted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything was good. Parking available (cost), rooms clean modern and comfortable, breakfast good choice and quality. Of the standard expected at Radisson Blu and they did not disappoint, thank you.

Great hotel in convenient locationPosted May 31, 2014
Pros: The location, the included breakfast and the design of the hotel. The staff were also excellent.
Cons: The shower head in our room was wonky!
Location: Ideal for the main railway station, the airport bus, the tram system and the main shops. The harbour was a pleasant 10 minute walk away too.
We had a super few days in Helsinki despite the erratic weather! The Helsinki Card was a good investment and the Finnair airport bus was perfect for getting us into the city and a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Nice comfortable hotel in a great locationPosted Feb 2, 2014
Great friendly staff, comfortable room, free wifi, located right near the train station. Nothing bad to say except perhaps don't get room service or make a call from the hotel phone coz there's a hefty charge.

Great location to catch the SAS airport busPosted Jan 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
As you would expect from this chain of hotels, the cleanliness and comfort were excellent. The room was actually very stylish and functional (even had a UK plug socket!). The location is perfect for catching the SAS airport bus (3 mins walk from the hotel) but is also a short walk from some good shopping.
