“good not great”
One thing that bugs me is the use of single bed duvais(sp) on all beds not just single beds. Many hotels in Scandinavia do this. I don't understand this for a queen bed. The food was Ok for breakfast. In the resturant the prices were very high.

“We expected more for a Radisson...”
The Hotel is ok, but I expected more for a Radisson pattern. The location is not so good. It is near the bus and train station and the museus, but a little far from the Port, shoppings, restaurants and cathedrals. At night we should always take a taxi to come back to the hotel, which was not what I was expecting. Room was nice and comfortable, and had wi-fi internet, but the bathroom had bad smelling curtains. Breakfast was nice. On a next visit to Helsinki I would choice a better located hotel.
“Loved this hotel”
The facilities at this hotel were superb! The restaurant and bar were great, the breakfast buffet offered more variety and quantity than any other hotel I used in Scandinavia. The desk staff was helpful when I asked them questions. Probably my only complain was that my room's bathroom wasn't replenished with soaps and shampoos very often. Other than that, the bed was great, very comfortable, and the room a decent size for a "single" in Europe. The hotel is within a two minute walk of the Metro station and a ten minute was from the central train station. An airport shuttle bus departs frequently from the said train station.
“Nice place to stay”
I stayed in this hotel for three days. This hotel is located very close to the heart of Helsinki, most of the attractions reacheable within 20 minutes either by tram or on foot. Hotel is very well furnished and maintained, as we can expect from Nordic countries. Morning buffet was also abundant and enjoyable. Only thing inconvenient was access to the airport. You will have to take a taxi after taking Finnair bus from the airport to the Scandic Hotel. To go to the airport, the best way is reserve a airport taxi at the desk at least a couple hours in advance. Except this, this is highly recommendable place to stay either for a leasure or for a business.

Bad service at Reception. Very Very late Check in. Eventhough after 4 pm check in was not ready.
