“In the Heart of Helsinki”

Great hotel at a great price. Perfect location - close to the Central Station, Kampi, and the ferry to Stockholm and Estonia. The only negative was having to pay for TV. Who pays for CNN? Really seems extreme to try to make a couple of bucks on TV. No big deal - we weren't there much. Beautiful room and awesome breakfast. Seriously, just like a Sunday brunch. Nice area to run also.

“Great hotel”

The place is clean, nice and about a 15 minute walk to the city center. Great breakfast buffet! Totally recommend it.

Area recommendations

To buy inexpensive souvenirs or eat fresh fried fish, go to the street market in front of the city hall. They close at 4pm in the summer. Don't miss going a boat tour! Great views for pictures.

July or August. It gets to -25C in the winter but between 17-25C in the summer.

Go on a boat ride. They leave from the City Hall.

“Good choice”

Excellent room, nice ambiance, great breakfast (not a good choice if you are on a diet). The only problem of the hotel is location if you are sightseeing, it is a bit far from downtown area (almost 2 kilometers to the central station).

“Nice hotel, but malfunctioning air consitioning made it miserable”

We called the front desk about our room being hot when we checked in and they brought us a plug-in fan. I woke up damp with sweat ever day.

“Just in front of tram 6”

Perfect location for public transport (tram 6), outstanding breakfast buffet, restaurant not recommended, missing local specialities (herring, raindeer, elk, country cheese...), easy reach for Talinn cruise, rooms confortable enough. recommended with no hesitation

“Carefull with prepaid booking !!!!!!”

The room was nice but with obvious signs of leakage (stain on the ceiling ). 10 min walk from city center. free sauna and wifi, breakfast is pretty good. the staff is friendly and helpful. The overall impression was ruined because 1 hours after check out I was CHARGED EXTRA 100 EUR FOR NO REASON. Luckily my bank notified me, and I still was in town, so I had a chance to return to hotel and solve the problem. It appeared that they charged the price of the stay,in spite that I had prepaid booking by expedia .The manager said that if I didn't return that day, the procedure of refund would be much more complicated.

“Location location location !”

This hotel is very well located with interesting views of the harbour and while not right in the main business district, was reasonably close to the shops and central attractions in Helsinki. We walked to shops and restaurants and there is a tram stop right outside the hotel. It is a pleasant, modern hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Nice Helsinki Hotel”

Good hotel, easy by public transportation as there is a street car stop directly in front of the hotel. The hotel has a sauna and a better restaurant. Staff is friendly and the room is clean. Only negative - a queen size bed is two twins beds rolled together. Avoid confusion - there are several Radisson's in Helsinki, so know the full name of the hotel if you use a taxi.

Traveler's tip

Use the street car to get to the main train station, which also serves as the bus stop for the Finnair ahuttle to the airport.
