I stayed here because I had an early morning flight. It is easy to get here by a free bus from the airport (runs frequently), there's a big shopping mall within walking distance, the area is peaceful and safe (not much to see, though), and I also appreciated the free breakfast. The hotel was clean, and the room was comfortable. The personnel was very friendly. If I was visiting Helsinki city, I'd probably stay in the city to be close to the attractions (although, it would be easy still to get to Helsinki from this hotel, for example via the airport buses), but if you need to be close to the airport and maybe just do some shopping at the nearby mall, this is a really good hotel!!

“Great Option”

For someone who is looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay near the airport, this is a great option. Shuttle service to and from the airport is easy and reliable, and the staff are very helpful. I chose not to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant, but breakfast was very good. If your needs are simple and you don't want to spend a lot of money, I would definitely recommend Rantasipi.

Cumulus Hotel was convenient and pleasant for a one night stay. The early morning breakfast buffet was great; what a surprise to have so much variety.

Very nice to take a sauna and swim before heading off to the airport. Perfect relaxing experience way to end a trip to finland. Jumbo shopping mall is only a few minute walk away, and easy shuttle service to airport. I will defiinitely be back!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was pleasant and comfortable. I must recommend a visit to the restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. There is a wide selection of food at breakfast, including Finnish meatballs. I would definitely recommend people to stay here.

“Good business hotel”

A regular free bus from Vantaa airport to the Hotel Rantasipi makes it a convenient and good value business hotel. My room was clean and comfortable with wired complimentary internet access and wifi in the lobby/restaurant. The breakfast choice was good and the restaurant offered a wide choice from straightforward grills to distinctive Finnish food. Service was good and all staff were friendly. I needed to hire a car and reception organised this with Lacara who brought the car to the hotel and offered better than airport rates for a well equipped, good condition vehicle. All in all staying at the Rantasipi made my two day business trip very straightforward. As a holiday venue the location is not so good. The only local feature is an excellent shopping mall.
