“Excellent choice in Helsinki”

We were very pleased with the hotel and it's location--close to the harbor, good restaurants nearby, very helpful staff, great breakfast, comfortable rooms. We would definitely stay there again.

The special of this hotel is they have " Free Tea and Coffee bar with a lot biscuits and very testy pastries ", after scrolling in the city, set down have a cup of tea or a coffee with delicious pastries, which makes you felt like at home.

We enjoyed this hotel both before and after a weekend in St. Petersburg. The rooms are smallish, but the location, just south of the Esplanade and a couple blocks from the Kauppatori market, is great.

Best Feature: Quiet! I usually sleep with earplugs when I go to hotels. I did not hear a sound. Pros: delicious breakfast, great location near the Esplanade, very helpful staff Cons: internet was 15 euros a day

“Great Hotel. Good location and service but bed could be better”

The rooms are a little small and perhaps the bed could be more comfortable, hence only a 3 rating for comfort. However, the hotel is excellently located, just 5 minutes walk from both the harbour and central shopping area and the service is excellent. The buffet breakfast is fantastic with a great selection including a British style cooked breakfast, croissants and other morning goods, fruit and continental style salad, meat and cheese. The hotel staff are very helpful and catered to our every need, including making us cups of tea at 2am after we returned from a friend's wedding! All in all, I can recommend this hotel whole heartedly. Yes, the bed could have been more comfortable but we were visiting Helsinki for 2 days to attend a friend's wedding and therefore did not use it much. But the great service, incredible breakfast and nice atmosphere of the hotel more than made up for it. Would I stay there again? Definately.
