“Just what was needed!”

We were looking for a comfortable hotel in/around the city centre. The Grand Marina fitting the bill admirably. Room was good, staff were friendly and attentive - even when we headed into the dining room at close to closing time, and we weren't hurried out either.

Comfortable room. Hotel is well maintained. Nice buffet. Only fault with the room was the noise of our neighbors' door closing.

All aspects of service were most satisfactory .The front desk were very helpful with a number of questions on where to go , what to see , how best to get there etc .The hotel location alongside the picturesque harbour was perfect , also several of the main tourist sights and all the main shops were just a few minutes walk away .A lovely hotel in a beautiful city .No courtesy airport bus ?

The hotel was lovely, services were great, very convenient access to many restaurants, shopping, city tours and tram-lines. We enjoyed our two week stay and would highly recommend the hotel for others.

Stayed for 3 nights in this very conviently located hotel. The condition of the hotel is very good, and although the room is small, its only a place to sleep, and leave your things. I had early access to the room, and the free wi-fi was handy. There were 3 PCs (one was faulty)in the lobby, which were very busy. Breakfast at the weekend was exceedingly busy, but always well stocked.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of good qulity and variety. Free wireless internet and a play area for kids - a nice bonus.

Exceedingly clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, good location. My first time in a Scandia hotel, but it will not be my last.

The hotel is large and elegant. Its location near the harbour and the city centre is convenient. The hotel services are excellent ie modern room with comfy bed, lovely buffet breakfast, helpful staff, free internet, free sauna and gym. I stayed at a quiet time of year ie September. I would stay here again. Recommended.
