“well-designed and great location”

I selected the hotel because of the interior design. The service was very good and it had both a bountiful breakfast and free computer access. The only flaw -- my room facing the Kamppi shopping plaza also overlooked a nightclub that blared music into the early hours thus taking away fresh air as an option.

“Central and convenient”

Flew from Dublin to Tampere and then took train to Helsinki. Hotel a few minutes walk from rail station. Very central and convenient for everywhere. Breakfast til 10:30am at weekends, a big spread, some ingredients a bit bland, but included good coffee and genuine baked beans...

“Finnish style and 'connected' comfort”

Although my room was smaller than some I've stayed in elsewhere, the decor was Scandinavian modern minimalist (which I like) and it was excellent for a business trip visit. Clean, modern and - huge plus - free wi-fi broadband for guests, so I could make Skype international phone calls as well as read my email at virtually no cost. The included breakfast was ok, the staff were very helpful when I wanted information about trams, buses, luggage etc, and the location is central: 5 mins from the station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I asked to change rooms to one with a bath and a view and was relocated with no problem. Friendly and helpful staff with very good English. Beautiful sauna. Amazing breakfast with extensive choice. Very handy location. I'll certainly be staying there the next time visit Helsinki.

“Beautiful and convenient”

Our stay at this hotel was a very nice experience. Except for the additional x-ray security on entrance because of the EU/Asian conference in town, we had a relaxing stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was very nice-lots of wood interior. I'm still a little surprised at what seems to be customary in Finnish and Russian hotels to offer only twin beds, but we adjusted to that. The complimentary breakfast was amazing... the buffet rivaled any full buffet in the states, except with a Finnish flavor (smoked salmon, cheeses, cold cuts, pickled herring, and wonderful breads + much more). This hotel is centrally located very close to the railway station and waterfront. We were able to walk to all the sites and museums we wanted to see.

“Great location!”

WE loved this hotel and found the rooms very comfortable, especially the beds after Italy! Could walk up from Station, and to the shopping centres,even one ajoining the hotel. You can open the windows if you want to. It's a very modern and free internet is a great help while travelling.

“Modern hotel in city centre”

In brief: Room - modern, simple, very clean, no minibar/fridge though. Breakfast - buffet was extensive and high quality. Staff - helpful with restaurant bookings, easy check in/out. Location - Very central just off main shopping street, 10-15min walk to harbour. Overall - very impressed with price and quality of hotel stay, would highly recommend.

“Very Impressed”

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. It is very well located in the middle of the city. Our room was very nice and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with huge choice. Only slight downside was the reception staff who could have been a little more friendly.
