Clean, fun, comfy and cheap!

Posted Mar 30, 2015
I really liked this hotel. It was so incredibly cheap and yes it's quite old but it was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is very convenient, right in Henderson. We were in town for business just for the evening and wanted to be away from the strip. I would totally stay here again ! Oh, and the cafe had the best pancakes I have ever tasted for $3.99. Yesssssss

Pros: Location near convention center.
Cons: The ventilation system in the casino is terrible. The smoke was thick enough to cut designs in. Very bad.
The food court is right near the smoking section of the casino. It would be nice to put the non-smokers there.

Some problems

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: They have an excellent cafe with a variety of great meals for a reasonable price.
Cons: See above
Location: Very convenient to the Galleria shopping center and Auto Mall.
When we arrived, the bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working. This is the 2nd time in a row this has happened. The maintenance man took an hour checking it and then never called us back. Finally I called the front desk and they gave us another room, which was in good shape. They have changed the TV system so that you can't check out on the TV any more. They also don't have quick check out box on the registration desk, which requires that you wait in line again, after waiting in line to check in. It seems like the manager isn't doing his job.

Nice stay

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: It has everything you could want - restaurant, fast food, buffet, gambling and a movie theater. The employees were very nice too.
Cons: The beds could be a lot more comfortable, other than that I wouldn't change a thing.
Location: The location is easily accessed off the freeway and it's easy to get to the mall and other areas.
The desk clerk was very nice, I believe her name was Aida. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The beds on the other hand were not very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

A good value for an off-strip hotel.

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Clean. Friendly staff. Short walk from hotel to parking. Best thing: $3 cold beer in gift shop right beside hotel elevators.
Cons: Fix the air conditioner. Better yet, the hotel industry needs to force A/C manufacturers to improve quality. The hotel A/C in Europe are way better.
Location: Don't stay here if you don't have a car. There's very little in the area and it's almost all freeway to get anywhere. But easy to get to if driving.
After years of staying on the Strip I recently started staying off the strip and am saving a lot of money and frustration doing so. The Fiesta Henderson is about a 20 minute drive from the Strip, mostly freeway. It's clean and feels safe, although I would prefer to see some kind of security on the elevators as currently anyone can access the entire hotel. I also wish there was a safe in the room. The rooms are clean but getting closer to 2 star for furnishings and appearance. The worst thing about my stay was the room air conditioner which was noisy and would cool the room down nicely, then go into heat mode and make it hot. I eventually just shut if off which made the air a bit 'stuffy'. The price I paid was $87 + the stupid $10 resort fee. This normally would not be an acceptable price for place this far off the strip, but the day I stayed all the rooms on the strip were way higher than normal. Usually, I would say this hotel is a good deal at not more than about $70 including the stupid resort fee. Pool area was quite nice, but pool was quite cold.

Hotel not in Las Vegas

Posted Mar 15, 2015
The hotel was far away from Las Vegas Strip Boulevard, very boring
