“The best hotel i have ever been to!”

We definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who goes to Crete for holidays. Very clean, delicious food with plenty of choice, excellent service. We wanted to change our room and the only question we were asked was 'are you packed?' and in exactly 15 min we had new room. We definitely come back!

“Comfortable Resort Great Service”

The people at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk, to the dining room, to the chambermaid, all the staff were terrific. Our package included breakfast and dinner and the food was very good.

“very nice quite location, just away from the main town.”

My wife and I found the hotel very comfortable, the service from the staff was excellent. Food very good and plenty to eat. Could have done with that cup of tea in the room first thing in the morning. Resort itself good but quiet due to the time I feel that we went in the season. Would not like to there in High season.

“CRETIAN PARADISE”

Have recently returned from Crete having stayed at the wonderful King Minos Hotel. The hotel was 100% and could not be constructively faulted on any count. Everywhere was spotlessly clean from the gardens, tennis courts, dining areas, bedrooms and most importantly the swimming pool area. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble; the chef even happily made chicken nugget and chips meal for my two children when the regular food served proved to gourmet for them. Hotel grounds really peaceful despite being close to main road into Malia. Have been to Crete before in height of summer so could envisage things being a lot noisy during height of summer season. Located very near (walking distance) to Star Beach which offers lots of activities for all ages. Go here and you won't be disappointed.

“Look forward to a return visit”

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was very good with plenty of choice.The beach wasn't too far away and could be reached easily, although a bit difficult for the disabled and several steps to encounter at the entrance to the Hotel. Our room was on the ground floor, which made the lovely pool and restaurant very accessable,although a bit noisy after the bar closed when a few inconsiderate people continued to chat loudly.However this only happened a couple of times and certainly didn't spoil our stay. we hired a car for the week and visited several super litle villages with excellent Tavernas where we sampled the local cuisine.The road signs made life interesting, but everyone we asked for directions were very helpful!

“Can't wait to go back”

Excellent hotel, set in large gardens - lovely and quiet. Staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Food fantastic. Highly recommend barbecue night.

“Excellent place for a top up of warmth before the winter”

We had one of the bungalows right at the bottom of the slope and although some might find this a nuisance, we looked at it positively as our 4 lots of exercise everyday apart from swimming in the lovely pool.( a little chilly at the end of the season but OK) The food was excellent and service also. It is a hotel we would return to and perhaps take time to explore the island a little more - this time it was just for a rest and time to really slobe out with a good book in the sun. The only negative bit was not kettle for an early morning cuppa but next time we'll remember the travel kettle!

“Fantastic Hotel”

The hotel staff were excellent. The food was always varied and plenty of traditional fare was on offer. Avoid Star beach down the bottom of the hill as it is loud and the beach is pretty poor. however take a bus from just down the hill from King Minos and ask for the 'sandy beach at malia' and in 15 mins time you will be at a lovely quiet clean beach (at least it was quiet when we were there!) The pool at the hotel and evening entertainment was also a real bonus the only down side was the beds - which were quite hard! Everyone at the hotel makes sure you are looked after and have an enjoyable time
