Clean hotel, beachfront, recently refurbished rooms, good air-conditioning and friendly staff. Breakfast is good for the size of the hotel. The check-in is still manual as it is a one-person doing everything, and invoices are still being prepared in writing, so it is a slow check-in, although a very quick check-out. There are no beach/swimming pool towels, so you need to bring your own.

It is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities. The whole hotel is bright, modern and very tastefully decorated. It was also spotlessly clean. It is in a very nice location right next to the coast. The breakfast is not included in the room rate but was very good value. There was an excellent selection of both hot and cold items. The lady on duty for breakfast was very helpful and obviously took great pride in her work. We had a very enjoyable stay and will be back.

Good hotel with nice pool area in good location
Location is great with access to beach, restaurants, bars, shops etc all within walking distance. As you exit hotel from beach to the right are restaurants, tavernas, a few bars which are more authentic, quiet, local, respectful, but also fun while exiting to the left is a little more rowdy however the selection of places to eat drink sit shop etc is endless!! Be mindful there is a strip bar on this side however there are also some very great local restaurants, so be sure to explore. I feel this end is more commenrcai, The Main Street has many shops restaurants etc more reasonable priced but is very accessible from hotel as is bus stop. The hotel was good and comfortable with a pool and is reasonably priced so an excellent choice. Staff were good but feel they lacked enthusiasm, however they were helpful amd attentive. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

A Little Oasis-Great Hotel
Amazing hotel - like a little oasis in the area - beautiful garden and pool area - lovely staff and rooms so well laid out and clean. Great location with the sea just outside the gate of the hotel. Lots of amazing restaurants nearby - would recommend restaurant FRESH though - we started to eat there every evening as it is so good. Only downside for me is the room balconies in the hotel mostly all face north so apart from a little sunshine first thing in the morning you won't have a sunny balcony to sit out on. Would highly recommend this hotel

Nice hotel, centrally located to prom &restaurants
Very nicely appointed rooms, though hotel itself not very large - seemed family-run. The local promenade accessed vis gateway through hotel gardens, & plenty of restaurants, bars etc within easy walking distance. However within hotel grounds it was quiet, even in evening, & sound from bars could not be heard. Very few & small beaches within easy walking distance - some of restaurants built out over the sea. Excellent frequent & cheap local bus services to other resorts along coast. Hotel also organised a hire car for us at cheaper rate than local firms.

Great hotel with wonderful facilities including pool, kitchenette, breakfast, pool bar and parking. Recently renovated. We had two room which opened up to the pool. The rooms have been recently renovated and are very spacious.

This hotel really should be 4*,
This hotel really should be 4*, however I understand it cant due to not having a restaurant. Overall everything is done to a very high standard and looks nearly new. The staff are very good and the bar snacks and meals are good quality, and lots of it. They have an air con system that works on quiet mode, and you really cant hear it working but still keeps the room cool, very impressed.

The hotel is situated almost at the end of the main venue running alongside the ocean in Chersonisos. The hotel personel were absolutely great in their welcome and providing us with a list of things to see and do in eastern Crete. A person or a couple could have a very nice day just staying on the hotel grounds and enjoying the pool and surroundings. Beautiful sea view from our room and the location is very quiet in spite of the 'resort' atmosphere of the main street in Chersonisos. There is an excellent fish tavern about 75 feet off to the right from the hotel front. Don't bother going anywhere else along the ocean. There are also excellent taverns in the upper part and old Chersonisos. Chersonisos is a good location from where to explore eastern Crete.

Petra Beach holiday
Petra Beach Hotel is a fairly small Hotel in a great location, just yards away from the sea, The Hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are all very friendly and will help with anything. Speak to the manager about sandy beaches to visit and the villages up the hill, very traditional, but lovely for a meal in the evening. Overall a lovely holiday in a great hotel.

Good open swimming pool in the hotel's court under my balcony. Beyond the court, a pedestrian road and a stony beach immediately after it. A sandy beach is located within 2 hundred meters. The room was large with a sofa, an armchair, one round coffee table one one a desk type table. very good shower. Also in the room were: electric kettle, microwave, one-hob electric cooker, plates, cups, cutlery. Nice breakfast cost 7 euro per person per breakfast. very nice coffee,

The hotel was the best part of our vacation. The stuff always was very nice to every guest. The room was beautiful and clean, totally worth the price!! The view from the room is gorgeous. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The studio was light, airy and spacious. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Would highly recommend. Good location, near to many restaurants, set back from the main road so quiet and peaceful at night.

Very nice well furnished cosy room with full sea view, staff is very welcoming, pool is nice. Property is very well maintained & clean. Sand beaches are at walkable distance. Shopping street is few meters away so quite busy neighborood though hotel is not right in from of a restaurant.

A very lovely hotel right next to beach. Great pool and plenty if sunbeds with a bar/ eaterie alongside. Room was modern clean, spacious and nicely decorated with plenty of storage. Also had a safe, mosquito drapes as well as blinds, Air conditioning and Maid service every day. Only downside was we wanted to cook to save money but there was only one useless electric hotplate and a tiny microwave... something that could easily be rectified to make this a perfect destination for a relaxing stay.

Perfect location and amazing helpful staff
Very enjoyable stay at Petra Beach. The staff were all brilliant. My only area for improvement would be softer pillows and a more comfortable bed but apart from that everything else was 5 star and would definately stay there again. The hotel has the most perfect location for any holiday in Hersonissos

An oasis in bustling resort
Hotel has been recently refurbished, rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. They are also cleaned daily to a high standard. There is a lovely pool (but no children's pool), and poolside bar selling breakfast and good snack type meals during the day, and drinks until late into the evening. The hotel is close to bars, restaurants and shops yet somehow managed to remain peaceful. Although next to the sea, there isn't a beach which is probably the only bad point. However, a decent beach is only about 15 minutes walk away. All in all a fantastic holiday made more enjoyable by the owners and staff, who couldn't be friendlier and more helpful.

Perfect and modern. The hotel has everything you could ask for. Located very conveniently 2 min to the main shopping area and 1 min to the beach. Pool area is amazing. Rooms are very comfortable and have free aircon (in other hotels you need to pay extra $5/day). Highly recommend this hotel!

Great place to chill.
We stayed for 7 nights at Petra Beach can't fault it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here. Room was excellent, spacious, clean and great views of the sea. Highly recommend this hotel as you are based in the middle of plenty of restaurants and bars, with short walks to the beaches. Spyros (the afternoon manager) deserves special praise for excellent service and friendliness, he will do anything to help make your stay a pleasant one.
