Amazing homely, friendly beautiful hotel
Wow, absolutely amazing. The photos don’t do it justice. Warm, friendly, cosy. The rooms also have a minibar stocked with fresh local produce that the owners have personally sought out and vetted. The breakfast is also sourced from award winning local produce - absolute top notch. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Sheila and Steve were both ready to greet us on arrival and were both really friendly and helpful,they even sorted us some plates and cutlery so we could have a takeaway downstairs with the weather being bad. Our room was a good size,nicely decorated and had everything we needed including a well stocked mini bar at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options available. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night but we had a great time and would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

I had a one night stay at the Somerville, I was greeted by the owners who explained everything I needed to know. My room had a wonderful view over the beautiful rear garden, and the cathedral and hills beyond. The room was very appointed with a comfortable double bed. Parking in on site and the location of the Somerville mean you have easy access to Hereford city centre and beyond.

Warm friendly and welcoming hotel.
We were made to feel very welcome from the start. Greeting was very friendly and everything was explained. Places to visit and recommendations on where to eat. Breakfast was hot and all fresh local produce. Excellent stay bed extremely comfortable.

Iseally situated near rhe city but easy access for out of town. Generous size rooms with everything you need. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfasts freshly prepared and choice of cereals. Yoghurt juices etc Garden is a great plus to chill

Gorgeous building with large comfortable rooms , beautiful gardens. Breakfasts marvellous ( I’m running out of superlatives!) I especially enjoyed the cinnamon portage and my husband loved the full cooked breakfast - lots of other choices available though. Staff and owners really lovely welcoming and kind. Short walk into the town. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Hereford.

The Somerville House certainly exceeded expectations. Our assigned room was comfy and well-stocked with snacks and refreshments, and our hosts were welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast menu was appreciated and the meal was served promptly. The back-yard garden is attractive and nicely manicured. All in all, it was quite a satisfactory stay and we have no hesitation in recommending it to other travelers.

Warm welcome with large rooms and all of the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. Honesty bar for drinks and snacks, although I didn’t use, was a great idea and not overly priced. Breakfast was great.

Beautiful property and location. Very clean and well maintained. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast as we usually prefer larger chain hotels. We are now B&B converts and look forward to our next visit!

Fantastic place to stay.
The hotel was really clean and the room was beautiful. The staff were so nice and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional including a lot of local produce. We would definitely recommend Somerville House to our friends and family. Really pleased. It was located really well and we walked into Hereford town centre in about twenty minutes.
