Lovely hotelPosted Jan 2, 2015
Paid £60 for the room on new years eve and was very surprised to be given a very large executive suite. Talk about a bargin!. Facilities at the hotel were very good and could not fault the staff who worked tirelessly throughout our stay. Would recommend this hotel

School ReunionPosted Oct 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a 2 night stay to coincide with a school reunion. This is primarily a 'business'hotel & is well situated for transport links. Try & get a room at the back of the hotel away from the road. The staff were very friendly & efficient & the cooked breakfast was very good .... but if you have kippers be sure to ask for 2 fillets [mine was very small !]. We had an executive double with a comfortable 6' bed, sofa, 2 armchairs & a good over bath shower ...a very comfotable room. I think this is an ideal visitor to Hatfield looking for a short stay ... business or pleasure

Good but drinks quite pricey!Posted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed for one night as we were dining nearby in Brookmans Park. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The service was good (they helped carry our bags to our room). Our only criticism was the bar drinks are quite expensive. Also we couldn't pay cash at the bar after 11pm and had to pay the next day which delayed our checkout (we had pre-paid for our room).

Bar pricesPosted Jul 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
I expect to pay a little more than pub prices for a drink in an hotel bar, but £10.40 for a large red wine and a bottle of cider is a blatant rip off. I can't fault your staff though. The service was excellent, and delivered with a smile.
