Out dated bathroom. First room had no heating so they changed the room but that bathroom had a leak!!!

ConvenientPosted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Ideal location for visiting our daughter and grandchildren in Nirth Watford.
Cons: Incredibly creaky floorboards everywhere!
Location: Visited Harry Potter Tour - brilliant.
Fri, Sat, Sun stay and hotel was really busy on first 2 nights with themed Christmas events in Restaurant & Ballroom. Fortunately, we had asked for a quiet room away from the "action", so no problems sleeping! 2 nghts running, our key card woldn't open the door to our room and had to be reset at reception. More than a little irritating, especially as my wife wasn't feeling very well.

Good hotel. Needs a warmer welcome.Posted Dec 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Decent hotel. Happy with price and facilities. Need a warmer welcome at reception. Interrupted sleep in the early morning from kids training/playing football. Would have been nice to been informed as we wasn't planning to check out early and could've moved to a quieter area.

Comfortable but noisyPosted Dec 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Really noisy room location, must have had stairs above as loud banging was heard all night. Also, nothing around the hotel so if you want to go out you'll require some form of transport.

Reasonable StayPosted Dec 9, 2014
Everything about the hotel was OK except it was very noisy in the corridor in the night banging on some doors and shouts which disturbed my sleep for a while. Otherwise it was OK.

Comfortable stay withh poolPosted Nov 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
A decent comfortable hotel, a bit expensive considering that it is starting to show its age. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The meals are expensive and the hotel is not in walking distance of the town (but there is a McDonalds nextdoor and a Toby about 15 mins walk away).

Very tired hotelPosted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Parking, pool, beds very comfy
Cons: Needs updating
Location: Harry Potter Studios - fantastic.
It is sad that this hotel has not been updated for some years as it definitely has potential. All was ok and clean - beds very comfy - but just all way too out of date. Upon arrival had to move rooms as in our original room the toilet wouldn't even flush. Nice pool and lovely spa, food nice, staff friendly enough. Good parking. Wifi advertised as free and "strong" but to be honest rather pathetic - had to revert to 3G to get any response on internet.
