Hesel is situated approximately 250 miles (402 kilometers) west of the national capital Berlin, and approximately 100 miles (161 kilometers) west of Hamburg.
It's little wonder Hesel is a perennial favourite with travelers from all over the world; the region is criss-crossed with interesting things to see and do. You'll find Bockhorn, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the west, and Bad Zwischenahn 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the northwest.
Bremerhaven, is another good place to visit.
