"The pool and sauna facilities were terrific - you can take a medicinal dip without going in the Heviz Lake. I didn't try the spa treatments, but they had lots of options at reasonable rates. Everything was clean and comfortable. The desk staff speak English well (and probably German and Russian in addition to Hungarian). The town is very walkable and picturesque. I came during the off-season and outside dining options were somewhat limited, but the hotel offers half- and full-board dining options covered in the room rate."

Only 2 slow lifts - one was used/blocked by service staff as well as the guests. Half board "canteen" (not a restaurant!) had a lot of food but poor quality with long waiting/crowding at the buffets "
