“I'll keep this one on file.”

The cleanliness of this hotel was excellent. The only drawback was that our room was at the entrance of the corridor and so we heard everyone entering and leaving. Also, there were childre who decided that our room was the one to do the "knock and run" trick. Quite annoying....people need to watch their children and teach them about respecting other people. The hotel was adjacent to decent restaurants and shopping and was very convenient to the interstate.

“Best during a convention.”

Friendly people, for the most part. Bathrooms showed some mold and water damage, and we were on the "executive wing." We were there when there was not a convention going on so many services shutdown early. For example, on Sunday night, they were supposedly serving dinner in the lounge. However, on getting back to the hotel at 8:30 pm, we were informed the lounge was closing and we could purchase a beer and snacks from the pantry by the front desk. OK, it is a Sunday night and it is Hickory but 8:30, really?

“"Hickory location is excellent"”

We used to stay in Boone for our football game destination at Appalachian State University; however, the motel prices werre beginning to become astronomical so we decided we would stay in Hickory even though it is 45-50 miles from our destination. We have found this hotel to be clean and very convenient to major eateries (two blocks) and an easy exit off of Interstate 40. The prices are good. Just wish they had flat screen televisions and pay-per-view movies.

Very nice accommodations. We were upgraded when we got there and the room overlooked the lobby. The only problem we had was some noise during the evening from the lobby.

“Will Go Back Every Time”

Other than the fact that the maid, (who by the way was on her cell phone while she was cleaning rooms) did not change the sheets in our room, our stay was A-OK. The hotel does need some refurbishing such as lobby area decor, however our room was in good condition.

“Nice Hotel”

Hotel was nice, clean and convenient. Our room was was very nice also. The only drwback for our stay was the hotel restaurant. They had a large and elegant dining area but restaurant was not open during our stay. they were setting up for a large easter brunch and were not open for dinner or breakfast the next morning.

“NO BREAKFAST!!”

This hotel has a very nice lobby, restaurant, and bar. There were 20 in our group so this is why we chose to stay here. Unfortunately, I am not a rewards member so I did not receive any breakfast coupons. I stayed 2 nights. I think breakfast is not too much to ask. The rooms are clean. This is a "motor-lodge" type hotel/motel so you park in front of your room. That's kind of convenient for me but others might not like this. Next time I'll stay at the Hampton next door.

“Not that impressed for the money spent after discount.”

Bed was very comfortable, but you could easily hear outside traffic and occupants in next room. For the money paid, the TV should have been a flat screen.
