“So-So”

Desk clerk didn't even check whether we had reserved a non-smoking room or not and didn't offer one either. Carpet in our room was filthy. Restaurant service and staff were excellent.

“Good Quality for Price”

Hotel had a convenient location to the beach, shopping, and food. The staff wasn't too knowledgeable on the surrounding area. The pool was small but we did spend more time at the beach. Overall it was a nice and we enjoyed our stay.

“Noisy airconditioner followed by band playing”

On a 0 to 10 scale, the overall hotel gets a 7. It is reasonably clean, a little difficult to get into at night due to its location when coming from the island itself. But the biggest problem was the first room they put us in had an air conditioner loud enough to keep almost anyone awake at night, and the second room was only somewhat better. The units sit in a room next to the bed, and we could hear not only the sound of the unit, but a dripping of water all night long. The last night we were there, a band was playing, at the request of the hotel, and while it stopped shortly after 10 pm, I was not ready for the roar of an air conditioner, the drip of water, all to the heavy bass beat the vibrated the walls. It is not a bad place, it just requires some patience. It was clean, the staff was nice, the beds comfortable.

“Paper thin walls”

The motel looked nice was clean but trying to sleep was a nightmare. The first night we were sound asleep when our neighbors checked in and we were awaken by the doors the shower running and we could hear everything they said. The following night we were sound asleep and someone tried calling us from the front desk. Once again startled out of a good sleep. This time the other side had called front desk to complain our TV was too loud. It wasn't even on and we had been asleep for at least 45 minutes. Apparently you can hear the TV from different rooms as later we could hear one but knew it was not next door. All and all they should have done a better job with sound proofing the walls, I would not recommend this hotel if you are out all day and want to get a good nights sleep.

“Hilton Head Vacation”

The front desk staff was very responsive when we informed them that the dead bolt lock on our room was not working, immediately moving us into another room on the same floor. Their breakfast was delicious and reasonbly priced, and the overall accomodations were very nice for the price.

“CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK”

WONDERFUL! SERVICE WAS TOP NOTCH. FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. EVERYBODY WAS VERY WELCOMING AND SUPER FRIENDLY. WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

Getting around

SOMETIMES TRAFFIC CAN BE HEAVY, SO I RECOMMEND RENTING BICYCLES TO GET AROUND. LOTS OF NICE BIKE TRAILS AROUND ISLAND & CAN EVEN RIDE ON THE BEACH. RENTALS ARE CHEAP & COME WITH BIKE LOCKS FOR PARKING.
