“Great place, but no free breakfast”

The property was nice and clean. We arrived very late and checked out very early, but there was no free breakfast like at 99% of other hotels in this category.

“Good quality hotel with a very attentive staff”

Almost everything about this hotel is above average and should be considered excellent in this price range. The staff responded promptly to all requests. We stayed 3 nights - the room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. 3 quibbles The door cards were a hassle - we had several sets. The number of TV channels were unacceptable. It was so hot in Hilton Head that we were not able to stay outside all day long so retiring to the hotel room was necessary. The selection of channels was very low budget. There was not a continental breakfast available - you would be stuck paying $10/person for breakfast. We got "stuck" in Hilton Head for 3 days due to scheduling issues - the hotel is not ON THE ISLAND, but is only 10 minutes away. Unless you stay beach side on island HHI this is a non issue - the travel time to the public beaches is very short. If I were to be "stuck" in HHI again without access to our time share, I would stay again without hesitation.

“Good Quality for Price”

Hotel had a convenient location to the beach, shopping, and food. The staff wasn't too knowledgeable on the surrounding area. The pool was small but we did spend more time at the beach. Overall it was a nice and we enjoyed our stay.

“Hilto Head”

Hotel is not on Hilton Head but was very convienent for me to head to the Conference HQ 9 miles away. Traffic on HHI can be an issue for travel timing.

“Nice but pricy breakfast”

The hotel was good, perfect location for our needs. My only complaint was breakfast was expensive. I'd stay in another comparable hotel next time for free breakfast. There are several in the area.

“Noisy airconditioner followed by band playing”

On a 0 to 10 scale, the overall hotel gets a 7. It is reasonably clean, a little difficult to get into at night due to its location when coming from the island itself. But the biggest problem was the first room they put us in had an air conditioner loud enough to keep almost anyone awake at night, and the second room was only somewhat better. The units sit in a room next to the bed, and we could hear not only the sound of the unit, but a dripping of water all night long. The last night we were there, a band was playing, at the request of the hotel, and while it stopped shortly after 10 pm, I was not ready for the roar of an air conditioner, the drip of water, all to the heavy bass beat the vibrated the walls. It is not a bad place, it just requires some patience. It was clean, the staff was nice, the beds comfortable.

“Paper thin walls”

The motel looked nice was clean but trying to sleep was a nightmare. The first night we were sound asleep when our neighbors checked in and we were awaken by the doors the shower running and we could hear everything they said. The following night we were sound asleep and someone tried calling us from the front desk. Once again startled out of a good sleep. This time the other side had called front desk to complain our TV was too loud. It wasn't even on and we had been asleep for at least 45 minutes. Apparently you can hear the TV from different rooms as later we could hear one but knew it was not next door. All and all they should have done a better job with sound proofing the walls, I would not recommend this hotel if you are out all day and want to get a good nights sleep.

“Rude Staff”

The staff at this hotel were very rude and did not assist us with our concerns. They had no bell service or luggage carts for us to use once we got there. We ordered a smoking room but was not given one. Manager made rude comments to us when we complained about lack of luggage carts. The sheets did not fit the bed properly. Jets in the hot tub were not working. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone mostly because of the rude staff.

“Not impressed with location - difficult to get to (in and out)”

It was very accommodating when we need to relocate to beach on the ocean.

“Good location”

This hotel is right across from Hilton Head so it is a short drive to the island and to Savannah. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Hallways and elavators were not as nice. Staff could also have been friendlier. Overall, an average hotel with no major problems.
