Run as fast as possible from this hotelPosted Nov 30, 2013
The price was right but the hotel was not. The lobby smelled like pickles and cigarettes. The elevator smelled like chlorine. We couldn't open our door at first so we went back downstairs to the pickled lobby and the front desk assistant said try lifting the door handle upwards and it should open. Sadly that worjed. The room was very spacious but the tv was from 1900. The bathroom came straight from the Brady Bunch. Also, there was a used washcloth hanging up on the shower curtain rod. It had public hair in it. The shower ceiling was either molded or mildew. The water never got hot. So yes we took and cold shower and left. Thankfully we only stayed there for about 12 hours. Do not stay here. I repeat do not stay here!

Don't really have internetPosted Oct 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The most concerning aspect was the fact that the comforter had a stain on it that hadn't been at least washed. Pretty disgusting. The hotel says it has internet, but it only has it in the lobby. The TV didn't have a remote for it and the staff (they were helpful) scrounged up two different ones for me to try. The TV was horrible though, so it didn't really matter.

let's start by saying you have a5 storage hotel in 10 parking spots or did the so-called balcony is only 2 feet wide order so called tub is a glorified foot bathbut wallpaper is peeling no telephone in the room TV iS a 4 ton monster inside of the cabinets that you hear TV come on before the picture ordered after two showers mildew is growing on the walls in the bathroom the refrigerator won't close because it is so old I felt like I was stuck in the late 80's early 90's no wifi no telephone and the ocean view is a joke too

Older, but perfectly fine for the pricePosted Oct 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed for 1 night with friends for a beach trip. Great location: 2 minute walk to the shore, 10 minute walk to the main plaza with shops and dining. It is obvious the hotel is older. Staff was friendly. The room had a small kitchenette, which I hadn't read anything about- though I didn't try it out. The night we were there they had some sort of spill in the 2nd floor hallway- carpet was very damp and smelled horrible. They informed us of this at check-in and apologized and offered to move us to a different floor the next day. However, everything else was perfectly clean and this didn't affect our room in any way. I was actually expecting a lot worse in terms of cleanliness for the condition and price of the hotel- I gave cleanliness of the room 5 stars here. I didn't have a problem with parking as some reviews mention: There's a handful of spots right alongside the entrance, not sure where the rest are, it wasn't a very busy weekend so I didn't have to bother finding out- I did see a few cars without a hotel parking pass, which may affect parking. As other reviews said when I booked, the pool was still closed 10/5/13-but I booked a hotel on the beach to go to the beach. Bottom line: Don't expect a resort.. but perfectly fine for a night or two if you are with friends and looking for a cheap place just to sleep.

Great location/needs updatingPosted Oct 5, 2013
Pros: The rooms were clean, the bed was good, the staff was pleasant and the location was excellent.
Cons: The physical space needs massive updating.
Location: The location is steps from a great public beach. A short ride to a variety of great restaurants at varying price points. Very walkable.
The hotel is located steps from a lovely beach. It is clean and most of the staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The physical aspects of the hotel, however leave much to be desired. Tired and outdated, this building is ready for a massive redo. If a low budget is your requirement, then this hotel may work beautifully. But if your looking for a little luxury on your vacation you'll have to look elsewhere.

Close to Coligny PlazaPosted Oct 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was just o.k. Hotel is pretty run down and parking is really not good at all. Room was large but I had trouble getting hot water. Pretty subpar for a 2 1/2 star rating on Hotel.com.

Hotel was clean but needs updated .close to beachPosted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Was walking distance both to Beach and Shopping. Price was affordable Clean..
Cons: New Paint and carpets would make it more appealing to guests.
Location: Beach right across the street, many shops and restaurants ,with in walking distance .Able to rent Bikes or walk many trails to shops ,parks and beach.
Hotel needs more supplies couldn't get extra towels, can not sit on balcony, but okay to stay in ,if not going to be in room but to sleep. Room was clean just badly needs updated ,carpets are gross, walls need painted.
